If he stays, then thats fine, and if he goes, that's fine too. We move on. He is certainly not currently at a level that I would be gutted to lose him.

The Weller goal from the Luton game, not only won the itv goal of the season, it went on to be voted itv goal of the decade a few years later.

It's not about how much you spend, especially for the promoted clubs, it's about who you spend it on. The perceived advantage that ourselves and Leeds/Saints will have over Ipswich, is that we already have players with Premier league experience within the club. Losing McKenna in my opinion, will be a much bigger blow to Ipswich, than us losing Enzo, if indeed we do.
-
The buyout for McKenna from Ipswich is far less than the reported 10 million for Enzo, I think I heard on talk shite it was 3 and half million, so i don't think that will help Ipswich spend spend spend to be honest.

There are plenty of good points in there, but calling Enzos football dynamic while with us, is perhaps stretching it a bit. We were actually much more dynamic in the games where we didn't control possession, and were able to counter attack, which given his after match comments, was not to his liking. Of course he will have much better quality of squad to try and implement what he wants at Chesea, but I still doubt the football will be dynamic. I wouldn't even say Man City play football in a dynamic way. They wear you down with their quality. If it is dynamic football they want, then McKenna is there man over Enzo.

Just listened to Linekers "The rest is football" podcast, where he's interviewing Kasper. Well worth a listen.

Any top Premier league club would look at Enzo, and be put off by the fact he lost 11 games in the Championship with arguably one of the best squads in the history of the Championship, but we are talking about Chelsea, who have owners who have a complete scatter gun approach, so anything is possible with them.

I know, but you know what I meant.

I spent time in Southampton, and thought it was a really nice place, and the people very friendly. I wouldn't say it was dull, although go down the coast to Portsmouth and its livelier, but the people are suspicious of anyone they dont know, and are very ignorant and cold, and you're also more likely to get your head kicked in! At least, that's my experience anyway. Southamptons stadium is indeed bland and dull, but then it's a replica of ours!
-
I think Southmpton have the better chance. Yes they will take chances playing out from the back, which could be there undoing, but if they get it right, they can play through Leeds, much like we did, especially second half at Elland Road, where had it not been for crap officiating and crap finishing, we would have battered them.

I've got shite loads of City dvds and videos, including all of our games from match of the day from the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons. The various news programmes that celebrated our Premier League season, and all of our Champions league games. Plus Play Off games, and loads of other various games over the years. Have a fair few Videos and DVDs that the club produced too of course. That's why I still have a VHS/DVD player. Not all the stuff I've got is on You Tube, so still need the player to play them on the occasional times that I might want to reminisce and watch them again.

What's a hard drive??
-
VHS/DVD player combined.
-
Leeds are hardly making an effort, they're more than comfortable with the draw at worst. Norwich are woefull!
-
No, that would be far too fan friendly!
-
Don't think it would be very friendly.

I would be amazed if there wasn't interest in Rantala, she is a class act. I hope we can hang on to her, and keep improving. We've made big strides this year.
-
Thanks for the Draper info, I wondered why she hadn't been in the squad recently. Hannah Cain would be a big plus when she comes back too, i think we've missed her out wide. Is her ACL career ending then? I hope not, I really rate her. Whoever comes in as manager, has a decent squad as a platform, defence is the place we need to strengthen with more quality before anywhere else, but as you say, another number 9 would also be a welcome addition.
-
Not convinced O'Brien is number 9. She's played there before and was far from the best finisher. She would add pace to the position, but not so good at holding the ball up, and linking the play as Petermann. Has Draper been injured? Would have liked to have seen more of her in these games that have nothing on them. I know she's very young, but on the brief occasions I've seen her, she looks to have Vardy like movement, and an eye for goal.

It was the same but on a bigger scale when we won the Premier League. Doesn't really bother me, doesn't affect me, but I suppose they are given seats for the trophy lift game that could have gone to genuine City fans, which is a shame. Ultimately though, while Top and his family are custodians of the club, they can do as they please and will do.
-
Gone downhill since they lost their manager. The ladies have shown before that they have some decent players. Defence isn't great though, and that needs to be addressed by whoever takes over as manager.

2024/25 Season Tickets: Renewal Dates & Prices Confirmed

It will be, because the majority will still pay the £25, and so the club will take the option away, because they don't care about the fans. -

See you on Saturday Top, let's see how charitable the fans are, while you're walking around the pitch milking winning a trophy from a league that we was only in, through the mismanagement of those that run the club! -

So "having taken on board the feedback from the fans", they've decided to do nothing to address the majority of fans wishes, but have now dressed it up as a charitable gesture! What a load of Tommy Wollacks! The majority of fans want a physical card, they don't want it on their phone, how hard is that to listen too! I will continue to support the players, and management, but I have lost all respect for the those at the Top, who really don't give a Shite about the fans and what they want. They can stick their free beer, cakes and coconuts where the sun don't shine!
