Thanks for the Draper info, I wondered why she hadn't been in the squad recently. Hannah Cain would be a big plus when she comes back too, i think we've missed her out wide. Is her ACL career ending then? I hope not, I really rate her. Whoever comes in as manager, has a decent squad as a platform, defence is the place we need to strengthen with more quality before anywhere else, but as you say, another number 9 would also be a welcome addition.

Not convinced O'Brien is number 9. She's played there before and was far from the best finisher. She would add pace to the position, but not so good at holding the ball up, and linking the play as Petermann. Has Draper been injured? Would have liked to have seen more of her in these games that have nothing on them. I know she's very young, but on the brief occasions I've seen her, she looks to have Vardy like movement, and an eye for goal.

It was the same but on a bigger scale when we won the Premier League. Doesn't really bother me, doesn't affect me, but I suppose they are given seats for the trophy lift game that could have gone to genuine City fans, which is a shame. Ultimately though, while Top and his family are custodians of the club, they can do as they please and will do.

Gone downhill since they lost their manager. The ladies have shown before that they have some decent players. Defence isn't great though, and that needs to be addressed by whoever takes over as manager.

2024/25 Season Tickets: Renewal Dates & Prices Confirmed

It will be, because the majority will still pay the £25, and so the club will take the option away, because they don't care about the fans. -

See you on Saturday Top, let's see how charitable the fans are, while you're walking around the pitch milking winning a trophy from a league that we was only in, through the mismanagement of those that run the club! -

So "having taken on board the feedback from the fans", they've decided to do nothing to address the majority of fans wishes, but have now dressed it up as a charitable gesture! What a load of Tommy Wollacks! The majority of fans want a physical card, they don't want it on their phone, how hard is that to listen too! I will continue to support the players, and management, but I have lost all respect for the those at the Top, who really don't give a Shite about the fans and what they want. They can stick their free beer, cakes and coconuts where the sun don't shine! -
Love the bloke, absolute Leicester City legend for me. Always gives 100 per cent, and such a humble bloke. Underrated by every manager he has played for here, and had to be patient and fight his way in, which he done without any strops. A Premier league winner, a scorer of goals in Europe, an FA Cup and Charity Shield winner, and now a Championship winner. Marc Albrighton I thank you and salute you!

I expect she will, she is a class above playing for us unfortunately.

Ipswich absolutely deserve it, and then West Brom from the play offs, who I was very impressed with last week, and will take some beating! I quite like Southampton, ive spent time there, and found it to be a nice place with friendly people, but unfortunately they have Brussel Martin as manager. A bit bored with Norwich going up and down in recent years, and Leeds are Leeds! Ultimately though, anyone but Leeds!

Or if Ipswich draw

I look at it more, as hopefully a performance that will help Enzos career going forward. That he will learn from it. He is very new in his managerial career, and has his idea of how he wants his team to play, and that's fine, but as he is finding this season, there are times when that way isn't working, and you have to find another way. Last night will hopefully be a reminder for him going forward, that, that is fine too. He will become a better manager if he does.

Oops I'm quoting myself, what a prat!

He won't have been happy with having only 30 odd per cent of the ball. For him that means we aren't controlling the game. The reality is, if you are organised with the press and get it right without the ball, and move the ball with speed and purpose when you get the ball back, then you can have some semblance of control that way too, and can be harder to stop than taking 30 passes more than you needed too, to try break and opposing side down . We won the Premier League playing that way. Enzo needs to be more flexible in his thinking, and realise there is more than just one way of playing, that it's OK to mix it up when his way isn't working, and then he could go on to have an excellent career as a manager.
-
Well he has his own companies too doesn't he. Doesn't change the fact, in my eyes at least, that if he does work for the BBC, and is the highest earning broadcaster on the BBC payroll, that he is in some part an employee of the BBC, and should be held to the standards and guidelines set out by the BBC. Guidelines that I don't agree with by the way, I think people should be able to air their own opinions regardless of the organisation they do work for, but ultimately the BBC didn't uphold him to theirs, despite doing so with others, and just used his "I'm freelance" explanation as a cop out, and an excuse not to discipline him in the way they would for some others.
-
The Lineker isn't a BBC emloyee, he's freelance is a bit of a BBC cop out really. They used the excuse as a loophole so they didn't have to discipline him in regards to him airing his political views on his social media, which went against the BBC has to remain impartial mantra. The fact is, Lineker is the face of Match of the day, he is the main BBC presenter at World Cups and Europeon Championships, and also the main man at the BBC Sports Personality Of The Year. It's not like he is a guest presenter who is only rarely used. He may not be "on the books", but while he is working so much at the BBC, and being paid by the BBC, then he is in all but name a BBC Employee.

It doesn't matter what Enzo should do for the West Brom game, because he will keep ploughing on in the same old way regardless. He will probably put Vardy in for Daka, but can't see him changing anything else. Personally I would like to see the guy from the hair bear bunch dropped for Coady, after costing us a number of goals recently, but can't see Maresca doing it.

Certainly been a drop off since the manager issue. I know its not her day job, but the stand in manager has been poor in team selection and subs in my opinion.
-
If Tierney wasnt injured, then a shite decision by the stand in manager to take her off. Took Rose off when she had her full back on toast. Massive drop off when the Japanese girls went off. Blew a great chance of making the final!

Is O`Brien only allowed to run when she has the ball at her feet!

I've reached a point now, where I feel that if we do go up, and it's a very big if, it will be inspite of the manager and not because of him! -
Not for a minute that I think this is going to happen myself, but the optimist wearing those blue tinted glasses would say, we win against West Brom Saturday, Leeds lose away at Boro on Monday after, and we will be promoted with a home win the following night against Southampton.

Not as dynamic, but at least he can cross a ball. For all the fancy stuff that Mavadidi and Fatawu do, their crossing and final ball are appalling 99 per cent of the time.
