  1. I would certainly take Moyes rather than Cooper. He has way more experience, and I think he would give us the best chance of staying up over not only Cooper, but anyone else that seems to be in the frame, and for this season, that really should be our only aim. If it is Cooper, then the Notts Forest thing won't matter if he gets off to a good start, but if he doesn't it will give him less time to turn it round, before the fans turn. Not a fan of Coopers football, and more especially the way he had players constantly going down feigning injury in order to break the game up, and waste time. Really didn't like that his goalkeepers kept getting cramp either! Ultimately it will be what it will be, and whoever we end up with,we have to get behind them, and hope for the best, even if we may fear the worst.
  2. I don't think alot of the people who wanted the ball to go forward quicker, were talking in terms of just hoofing it long, they were wanting the ball to be passed quicker and with more purpose, instead of playing the ball through the line, and beating the press, which is the whole reason for playing out from the back, but then slowing it down, passing sideways, or even back again, and letting the opposing players get back behind the ball again. That was the main frustration in my opinion.
  3. More of a Bielsa disciple than Peps, to be fair.
  4. I won't believe it's done until Guilliaume Ballague has been on Chelsea TV, and told them that they are going to be getting the new Messiah, and they should all bow down to him, and shout Praise King Enzo, each time they see him!
  5. I dont give two hoots what he looks like either, but if fans were not happy with the football under Maresca, they aint going to enjoy it under Cooper! Yes he kept Notts Forest up, (JUST) in their first season in the Premier league, but his football absolutely stunk the league out doing it, it was abysmal to watch! Im not sure i had ever seen a Goalkeeper with cramp until Cooper went to Notts Forest, then it seemed to be a regular thing there. My god, his Keepers must spend the whole game running round their penalty box when they dont have the ball!
  6. If he becomes manager, be prepared for some extremely long games, a Grand master of the dark arts is Cooper.
  7. Which was the opposite of a pleasant surprise!
  8. Best team in the league MY ARRRRRRSE!!!
  9. If he stays, then thats fine, and if he goes, that's fine too. We move on. He is certainly not currently at a level that I would be gutted to lose him.
  10. The Weller goal from the Luton game, not only won the itv goal of the season, it went on to be voted itv goal of the decade a few years later.
  11. It's not about how much you spend, especially for the promoted clubs, it's about who you spend it on. The perceived advantage that ourselves and Leeds/Saints will have over Ipswich, is that we already have players with Premier league experience within the club. Losing McKenna in my opinion, will be a much bigger blow to Ipswich, than us losing Enzo, if indeed we do.
  12. The buyout for McKenna from Ipswich is far less than the reported 10 million for Enzo, I think I heard on talk shite it was 3 and half million, so i don't think that will help Ipswich spend spend spend to be honest.
  13. There are plenty of good points in there, but calling Enzos football dynamic while with us, is perhaps stretching it a bit. We were actually much more dynamic in the games where we didn't control possession, and were able to counter attack, which given his after match comments, was not to his liking. Of course he will have much better quality of squad to try and implement what he wants at Chesea, but I still doubt the football will be dynamic. I wouldn't even say Man City play football in a dynamic way. They wear you down with their quality. If it is dynamic football they want, then McKenna is there man over Enzo.
  14. Just listened to Linekers "The rest is football" podcast, where he's interviewing Kasper. Well worth a listen.
  15. Any top Premier league club would look at Enzo, and be put off by the fact he lost 11 games in the Championship with arguably one of the best squads in the history of the Championship, but we are talking about Chelsea, who have owners who have a complete scatter gun approach, so anything is possible with them.
  16. I know, but you know what I meant.
  17. I spent time in Southampton, and thought it was a really nice place, and the people very friendly. I wouldn't say it was dull, although go down the coast to Portsmouth and its livelier, but the people are suspicious of anyone they dont know, and are very ignorant and cold, and you're also more likely to get your head kicked in! At least, that's my experience anyway. Southamptons stadium is indeed bland and dull, but then it's a replica of ours!
  18. I think Southmpton have the better chance. Yes they will take chances playing out from the back, which could be there undoing, but if they get it right, they can play through Leeds, much like we did, especially second half at Elland Road, where had it not been for crap officiating and crap finishing, we would have battered them.
  19. I've got shite loads of City dvds and videos, including all of our games from match of the day from the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons. The various news programmes that celebrated our Premier League season, and all of our Champions league games. Plus Play Off games, and loads of other various games over the years. Have a fair few Videos and DVDs that the club produced too of course. That's why I still have a VHS/DVD player. Not all the stuff I've got is on You Tube, so still need the player to play them on the occasional times that I might want to reminisce and watch them again.
  20. What's a hard drive??
  21. VHS/DVD player combined.
  22. Leeds are hardly making an effort, they're more than comfortable with the draw at worst. Norwich are woefull!
  23. No, that would be far too fan friendly!
  24. Don't think it would be very friendly.
  25. I would be amazed if there wasn't interest in Rantala, she is a class act. I hope we can hang on to her, and keep improving. We've made big strides this year.
