  1. Damon? Thought you were brilliant 👍🏼
  2. Just play Perez he's scored 9 prem goals against them
  3. Agree fully, he's a parody of himself. What message does "We went to a diamond because we have no wingers" send out to his own signing in Perez who he's decided to play on the wing his whole Leicester career, our title winning winger who also has plenty of experience the side is apparently lacking and for any prospect coming through the ranks, even more so now we can name 9 subs!
  4. I really am sick and tired of the drivel that comes out of his mouth after every game. For the whole of last season he was harping on about not having much coaching time but on Saturday, I have absolutely no idea what the tactics were, what the game plan was or even what we would have been working on in training all week, everybody looked totally lost. This crazy 5 at the back, diamond formation he seems to have created offers us absolutely nothing going forwards. Its asking way too much of our wing back’s to try and create / be an outlet going forward - without at least 2 upfront or an inverted winger to play off, their only pass is backwards! He said our team lacks experience but apart from KDH, every single player on that pitch has represented their country or at the very least at under 21 level. What I don’t understand is how we can play a 4-2-3-1 / 4-3-3 all preseason with high inverted wing backs & a high press but then completely change our shape / strategy a week before the season starts. – Castagne for Ricardo is a straight swap, Albrighton / Praet / Perez for Barnes whilst not ideal, would have done a job for a couple of weeks that allowed us to keep the same shape and continue with the identity and strategy we had been working on for the whole of preseason!
  5. In the stupid system we have played in the last 2 weeks, he dosent have the pace or athleticism to do what we are asking him to do, it’s making him look awful!
  6. I'm keeping Tripper for one more week (Brighton A) in the hope he can get another clean sheet and maybe nick a goal or assist. They have a tough run of fixtures after that so I think ill swap him for one of the Arsenal 4.5's lookin at their run of fixtures, Zinchenko has already risen to 5.1.
  7. Where is everyone heading for this one? The weather is looking outrageous so does anyone know of any good places that will show the early KO in outdoor beer garden?
  8. Very happy with this start, looking at the weekends fixtures too I’m feeling confident of another good week!
  9. I'm not sure on other areas of the ground but certainly around J, K & L Block they have been pouring bottles into plastic cups now. Warm drinks, in cheap cups that just crumble in your hands, oh and the price has gone up for them too
  10. Sven's first pre season (2011) I'm sure we began training at the Recreation Ground in Stoughton whilst we had work done at Belvior Drive
  11. Only us. The worst set piece record in the division, probably the whole football league and here we are 3 days before the new season starts with our set piece coach not in the country and no idea who our number 1 will be after having a whole summer to work on them 🦊
  12. Like others have alluded to, why was this guy not ready to work on the first day of pre season giving us time to start implementing and working on his ideas! Everything seems a mess at the moment.
  13. We're pressing very high up the pitch and our full backs are playing very high / bombing forwards so we really need Ndidi back to the Ndidi of old where he sits in and shuffles across the line to help cover the full backs and not go chasing, trying to get involved in the game. I'm happy were seemingly trying to get back on the front foot and be aggressive however I can see us getting caught out on the break a lot next season.
  14. Does anybody know if you can buy tickets on the gate for Preston?
  15. The queues first match of the season when nobody’s mobile tickets work and everyone’s phones are dead
  16. So all my friends will tell you I’m usually very negative / pessimistic when it comes to LCFC and whilst I understand everyone’s frustration with our lack of business so far, I still think we have lots of reasons to be positive / optimistic this season and I actually think we go into this season stronger than we went into the start of last season. Injured Players Returning - going into last season we had lost Fofana long term, Evans injury had no time scale on the return, Justin was still recovering from his ACL injury and Castagne had a broken cheek bone resulting in him due to play in a mask - without putting a curse on anything, fingers crossed all these players will be fit for the start of this season! No European Football - Playing and focusing on only 1 game a week will allow us the maximum recovery and preparation time to work on things Rodgers said we didn’t have the time to do last season. New contracts - we’ve managed to tie Fofana, Justin & Ricardo down to long term contracts. Players having an additional years experience - KDH, Thomas, Daka etc all have an additional years premier league experience behind them now. Justin will hopefully come into this season flying too off the back of his England experience. New Club Doctor / Medical Staff / Head of Recruitment - time will tell if these appointments turn out to be successful but it appears the club have highlighted the areas which have been our downfall in the last few seasons and are taking back control / clearing out of the dead wood we had in the backroom team. Strong first XI - At full strength and I use that term loosely because I don’t think we’ve ever been able to field everyone on the pitch together but we have an incredibly strong starting XI with plenty of international players who will only make the bench. Exciting youngsters - With a years first team training under their belt and being included in the pre season trips / fixtures players like Alves, Braybrooke, Nelson etc will only improve and will hopefully only get closer to breaking through into the reckoning. This side have always been capable of scoring goals, if we can cut out the stupid amount of set piece and late goals I’m hopeful we can have an unexpectedly good season like a couple of years back where we sold Chillwell and didn’t do the Fofana, Castagne, Under business until late. 🦊
  17. I’ve had to compress the video file quality down a lot to be able to upload it onto here but a few weeks ago I decided I wanted to frame all the LCFC shirts I’ve seen us win a trophy in and I must say I’m very happy happy with the results! 🦊 IMG_6452.MOV
  18. That would be unlike Rodgers to protect his ego
  19. Michael Duff has left Cheltenham to become the new Barnsley manager. Hopefully Callum can get a loan to the Championship but I would image Duff will go all out to get him on loan again.
  20. Does anyone have a home shirt from the title winning season for sale?
  21. I'm getting horrible #fearless vibes
  22. If we can get him up to Seagrave and show him around the facilities we might stand a chance however he keeps staying the next move has to be right for him and his family and I can’t see him uprooting from London to come and live here, especially when he’s only ever lived in huge cities such as London, Milan & Amsterdam.
  23. This is the first and only time I think Maddison actually deserves a call up. Connor Gallagher deservedly got his call up earlier on in the season but he hasn't been anywhere near the level of Maddison since which makes a mockery of everything Southgate has spouted in the past about picking players on form
  24. The post was in January, Ricardo’s new contract was in February.
