The EFL are waiting for us with open arms to dish out a transfer ban and probably a points deduction. With a bang average, overpaid, ageing squad with hardly any sellable assets, this January literally feels like sh*t or bust for the immediate future of this football club. We wont have the luxury of bringing in the quality and keeping the quality like we did last time to bounce straight back and I fear we could be gone for a while if we don’t get it right.

Today has seriously worried me. Newcastle was naïve, but today was just an absolutely clueless disaster from start to finish. Woeful team selection and even worse subs. He looks completely lost in the technical area. Danny Ward starting when we have 2 better back up options just shows a clear lack of arrogance and due-diligence by going for the bigger name. Starting Ayew out wide AGAIN when we all know he’s a better impact sub. He was shocking out wide against Brighton and was rightly hooked after 60 minutes. Skipp starting when we have Winks available is again just madness. The reluctance to use Buonanotte is just also bizarre, especially when Bobby Reid is coming on ahead of him.

This is the one that is concerning me the most at the minute. Cooper can moan about a lack of bodies and signings all he wants but he's basically ignoring the heartbeat of the team for a player in Kristiansen who clearly doesn't want to be hear and who we seem open to selling. Kristiansen isn't quick, cant beat his man and isn't particularly good at crossing yet we seem to be basing our whole system around him whilst ignoring Ricardo which is very worrying.
