If Ipswich win tonight I can see them going on to be Champions and probably deserved. If we can win 3 out of 5 that may be enough for 2nd. We don't do draws and we don't grind out results so think it is the best we will do. Heaven help us if we end up in the play offs.

Please try something different to get our striker a bloody touch.

Appart from Faes happy with that.

Want people in the team tonight who can battle and keep calm at the same time. Faes to sit it out for me as he is only ever a brain fart from catastrophe. Fatawu to maybe do the same for same reason and Patson is miles off it at the min so Vardy to start.

Villa will be still be singing about 1982 in 2082 then!

Disappointed not to see Coventry on the list.

If we get promoted and start the season as good as relegated due to a massive points deduction I think there should be mass protest after protest to drive them out.

"Our financial position is sound" according to TOP.

Yes Ipswich are us in 15/16 and we are possibly going to come 3rd in what was a 2 horse race for a long time.

I think with Norwich and Coventry at home and desperate for 6th plus the Canaries playing their rivals can only be a positive that points could be dropped. Plus I am backing our squad size against Ipswich over this busy month to pull through. It's whether we have the mentality to win 6 out of 7 to see us home comfortably.

Feels like a side picked before the Bristol match. No thought whatsoever.

Just not Sideshow Bob and Krusty the Clown together. Make of it which one is which.

I've always thought he was going to struggle with a lot of players out of contract. I think that is coming to effect now in terms of motivation for some. I don't think Enzo will be sacked but will leave if we don't get promoted, probably for a job on the continent.

Jacob Souttar Coady Doyle Ricardo Justin Winks KDH Akgun Daka Iheanacho

He isn't changing the system or Personnel any time soon. But why not give a more traditional 3-5-2 a go?

I think it will be the tried and recently faltering team again playing the same way. Just don't see this manager changing anything unless forced. Would like to see Coady in but think Faes will play with Justin and Vesty. Ndidi might be rested after 2 games for Nigeria. I think Vardy will be an impact sub with Daka starting.

Top, Top and Top. Went off him big time with the head shaking in the barmy 14 degree October heat of 2022 v Palace.

We seem to impose a transfer embargo on ourselves every January for the rest season anyway apart from 2023 when with hindsight would have been better if we had.

Think he will be our number one eventually. Certainly wouldn't send him out anywhere. Could be as early as next season if we have to cash in on Mads.

Time was Jan. Another woeful attempt by the club.

I think the 2 og at Anfield summed up his composure at PL level.

Sorry its not good news.

I predict 5 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats. 99 points total. 2nd place as I think Leeds will break the 100 now. Ipswich I think 97 or 98. Southampton 4 or 5 behind that.

We have plenty of CB choices. For me Faes has too many mistakes in him and today reinforced that. I don't think he is calm under pressure either in the stressful games to come. Coady gets the nod for me along side Vesty and probably Justin for his pace going forward after today.

Jonathan Pearce won't be breaking in to Chelsea song this afternoon.
