not fair on cannon, he never had a chance this season, last season he did as he was asked, ayew has scored 4 goals so far. I agree with digging out Faes, also JJ, but can't help but feel we're a resultof our manager
-
You're correct on some this imo, McAteer, Okoli and Bilal have room to improve and look like they have promise, Faes needs moving on and Soumare could be useful in the right set up and is clearly a confidence player. We have 15/16 very average players but with a decent coach could do okay. If I was to say where our priorities in Jan it's a CB and RB to replace Faes and Justin
-
you're not wrong
-
so whats the deal with loans, we can have 4 loans but only register 2, so if palace dont take edouard back, can we not register him in jan and get in another?

For me today isn’t a game that breaks Cooper, it’s many prior decisions which lead me to believe he’s out of his depth, but with the personnel we have, it will take a managerial genius to get the best out of the squad we have. I personally would have liked to recruit Benitez, because he worked miracles with very little at Newcastle and wouldn’t take nonsense from Rudkin. I think he’s the calibre of manager we needed in the summer, as for now, unless we’re wiling to spend big money in Jan, I think odds are stacked against us. Players need to be motivated to work twice as hard as opposition to survive, so look at your squad and pick the most motivated, because I don’t think for us, formations matter a jot. What would help is using your bench over the 90 to full effect.

I haven’t been too any games this season, not sure what that takes away from me being able to analyse the game, I probably see more than someone sat behind the goal tbh

Chelsea (H) 23rd November - Pre-match Thread

apologies for having an opinion, that opinion is based on any points we have we've either obtained by playing 10 men or by pure luck, with the players we currently have, and the manager, i don't see us having a chance, that is unless we pull a huge rabbit out of the hat. i predicted us getting relegated aafter summer 22 window and was probaby called ridiculous then. -

If Cooper has any sense tomorrow, he will use the game as a chance to try some fringe attacking players, use alves, use golding, use McAteer, use Skipp, is Marcel available? he's got to see if theres any surprises there. we're as good as relegated, lets see what we have for next season -
its no exagiration that we need at least 4 players, 3 high quality that will improve our first 11 and a new manager. if we're to survive. its got to be a pacey CB, a quality box to box midfielder, a quality right winger, a quality striker, and ideally a RB, and thats not happning we may aswell plan fr the championship

Not sure what you get paid for doing a podcast, there must surely be a minimum standard you have to get to, to set the standard you need to listen to the latest LTID podcast, 90 minutes on whether we should have KDH back on loan without getting his name right once 😂it’s comedy gold, I have to admit I couldn’t make the full 90, it just got too bad.
-
if it is indeed true that Cooper has till the end of the year, making this public, does it serve as an advantage or disadvantage?

People that have a problem with the BBC constantly putting out a one sided view that tends to allign with the left of politics, whether it'd be Labour activists being interviewed smas members of the public on the news, Newsnight presenters with clear leftist views, questionable audiences on Question time, DEI policies with their employment process, and those people have no choice to pay for it, so when the highest paid presenter likes to air those views a little too often, of course its going to annoy those people, but not generally what lineker says (as many others say the same), but who he represents

This movie opened my eyes to corporate corruption, and we all live to it effects to this day

Totally agree, I myself was shut out of the climate change thread for having the wrong opinion, I certainly didn’t break any rules that I know of.

that last few games he came on, me and dad sat in C1, you could see as he ran the to the byeline and wrappes his foot around it. I really think some games put him on with souttar up front for last 15/10 we need a goal. -
looking at the opinions on women comms, co comms, woman pundits, etc i see as many opinions by young lads and some ladies as much as middle aged men, but as a middle aged man, i do prefer male pundits, comms and co comms, but I don't care who presents. If Alex Scott presented it wouldn't bother me as I think the format is rubbish anyway, would much prefer a longer in depth show like Chris Kamara had on sky on sundays. I think this is an opporunity for the BBC to make a great show, but i doubt they'll take it. hope that wasn't too toxic.
-
I'm what you'd call 'a hater', but I'm actually not. Personally I don't really think Lineker believes what he says, or cares about what impact it may have on others, or how he might be hypocritical in some of his views, but I'm happy for him to say what he wants, along as i don't have to pay his wages which gives him a platform, a status as such which carries an element of influence. Really I'm more against the licence fee than I am against Lineker and his views.
-
i know he's too ill, was just saying would have been great if he wasn't
-
wouldn't it have been great if Chris Kamara to get it, loved his analysis on Sunday mornings
-
you know what that is 🤣
-
its rubbish really. id much prefer the show chris kamara did on sunday mornings where he went in depth into the games, do that and put it on iplayer
