-
Get faes off and apologise to connor enzo
-
Hull are better than leeds and ipswich imo
-
I said it, coady should have played
-
The club are hopefully going to do what beneits the club. We arent going to sell the crown jewels cheap to avoid a 6 point deduction, you may as well keep what we have and start with -6. Amazes me that they're coming for us hen theyve not properly dealt with everton, forest and man city
-
If we're winning, enzo has the players to change it. Hes got to use his squad more
-
I hope not but fear you're right.

Hermanson hamza. Coady. Vestegaard. Doyle Winks Fatawu. Ndidi. KDH. Mavididi Vardy. team picks itself really
-
Think you're talking about hinchcliffe who was willing a goal equaliser when we played leeds, stangely he didnt play for them, but did for Weds

This game feels hugely pivotal.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
splinterdream replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Just listened to when you're smiling podcast and Jordan from BSLB made a good point, the EFL making this announcemount has in effect, devalued our players, if we wanted to sell a player before June, we're now more of a disadvantage due to this public row, clubs are more likely to low ball us, this is causing more issues for clubs rather than saving them -

What is ridiculous is if we have breached ffp, we could have really breached it and stayed up, there was absolutely no sense with what we did in the summer of 22 -

Video of Dorsett explaining that we could be charged as early as next week by PL, and they do have the power to deduct us points in tge championship with EFL approval, whether that'd be this season or next is unclear. https://twitter.com/SkySportsNews/status/1765774227469123890?t=oZy82g85RhgJJ3cAlsqdWw&s=19 -

So just seen Dorsett say, the Premier League could deduct us points off this season for breaching 22/23, if the EFL agree, and we've just made tge EFL quite angry. Doesnt seem very fair does it? -

The only way we go bankrupt is if top wants us to go bankrupt. He has the money but we are a seperate company, so if we're short he either folds or puts money in and contnues, our issues are trying to avoid a points deduction -
Yeah that'd be it, couldnt make it out

I see it as about investing in development, especially at a local level. I’m afraid you must realise the big six is a ceiling clubs like ours will never reach. Even if you get there, you can’t sustain it, that’s why we are where we are. Even if we’d have got top 4, I’d think we’d have struggled. King Power had it right with investing in developing players, they bought the house but fell short with coaching staff by sounds of it.

From how I understand it, Man City starting becoming a behmouth before ffp, but when introduced, carried out alleged dodgy sponcership deals and has supposedly breached (the outcome we await), and as for Chelsea, they’ve been developing and selling players for ages but also giving players 8 years contracts so spreading the finances in some way, I’m not sure if this loophole has been closed now. FFP is a mess but the principle is a good one imo.

Look at it this way, FFP does go some way at stopping teams like Newcastle buying everybody and walking the league, and unfortunately for us other championship teams have seen us in that light, because that’s where we are, so we have to comply or face the consequences. if you were a rival, you’d ask why we have 4 strikers and why we have 4 PL defenders on our books, was Coady really necessary?
