Premier League, 2017-2018 Season Thread
Richard replied to UPinCarolina's topic in Leicester City Forum
if they only want a striker who scores goals may as well have signed Yakubu -
If you saw the keeper diving then place it down the middle, by chipping it you're nothing but a willy puller no matter what you tell yourself. Anthony Knockaert managed ok as a Frenchman here also

Except decades of refinement within the scientific community. On the first page someone was complaining that predictions, models and forecasts are changing too much

Roma. Totti and I love their colours. Some of the early 2000s kits were great edit: How anyone can choose Parma above Fiorentina is beyond me

He played for against Spurs like a week beforehand? How could he then pick up a 2 month injury that neither us (the fans) or them, through their own scouting/research/medical not pick up on? Maybe he's just unfit and Fiorentina want their money back

Should we get someone to look after the place while we're not here? Perhaps those Villa fans if they can keep it tidy

Guardian Football Weekly think Utd is a step too far, have played 4 of last year's top 9 and not won (I'm not sure if that's true...), will likely fall away in December etc etc.

ha I said the motd lot don't know the offside rule, especially shearer and I stand by that!
-
Law of the game is that you are in an offside position if a part of your body with which it is legal for you to score with is in an offside position. They got rid of the 'daylight' rule at least 5 years ago. He was. It shows the ineptitude of motd that even confronted with evidence they still don't know the offside rule

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34896490 Kasper: "Everyone is enjoying playing under Claudio - he is a very personable guy when he talks to you and gets his message across. "What definitely helps is that he is able to speak to each player in their own language, something he does in team-talks when he is addressing the whole squad. "He has the language skills to speak Spanish or French when he has to and make sure he is understood. "That makes a big difference. For players coming to a new country things can be difficult enough even enough anyway, but not speaking the language makes thing very difficult. It's not a problem with Claudio, though."

“We had 60% of the possession,” Flores said. “This is good but with these statistics we didn’t win, so we need to think about it. Leicester had 40% of possession. It is because they are running. They want to run. They love it. They are used to running when we have the ball.” http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2015/nov/09/premier-league-10-talking-points-from-weekend-spurs-jurgen-klopp
