Undoing the wrong action at the wrong time - employing him in the first place

I wrote yesterday that they´d probably keep him for the season - that aged well

10 matches wasted really. The signs were on the wall even during pre-season so could have been done much earlier

Bleak! It does seem as if the board has no idea of what they are doing. Neither on the business side nor (and especially) on the footballing side. So they rely on a manager that knows what he is doing, and as Cooper seems clueless we are like a ship with no rudder. Frightening that this is possible in a multimillion business

Maybe their thinking was "with points deduction were going down anyway". So we might as well keep him. He is cheap in the Prem and expectations haven´t changed - were still going down so the boards perceived strategy is still on. Think that if he is fired. the layoff payment will be substantial. We hire a new one that fails to keep us up - and the change of manager will blow a big hole in our finances. I think they´ll stick with Cooper whatever happens.

The Board has seemingly no idea of football and what is going on so thats pointless

He talks well but made Denmark play awfully boring football. No passion, too defensively. Denmark have although qualified for Euros and World Cups the performance under Hjulmand has been terrible. So I am not so sure he has the balls for the Premier League.

Signing a 3-year contract maybe?
