Agree - however in my opinion his biggest weakness has been not to attend to the obvious management staff shortcomings. Relegated twice in 3 seasons and no changes to top management. No apparent change in strategy and we just seem to be ambling along hoping for the best. Whelan has been overlooking distastrous financial results and Rudkin a laughable handling of the transfers both in (not) selling and buying and handing out ridiculous contracts. In any other business these two would have been fired a long time ago. Its just mind boggling

what a run.....

As a very young man I worked part-time at a slightly posh grill bar that shared kitchen and premises with a restaurant next door. Had to deice the cooling system and managed to jam a screw driver through the ice and into the tube allowing the the cooling liquid for both places to flow onto the floor. The boss was not much pleased and warm beer was served for the rest of the day. I kept my job.
