If you haven't seen it already, Beeston Regis near Cromer has a wonderful ruined priory and a medieval church with paintings from just before the reformation. And if you're driving back along the A148 I'd recommend stopping off at Bale to see the 15th century stained glass.

I'm not local, and I doubt I'll be spending fifty-ish quid + train fare.

I'm more socially conservative than anybody in my family and circle of friends and I would quite like a right wing party to at least consider voting for but I don't really enjoy having my living standards ****ed.
