  1. Oops wrong thread
  2. Nice guy. Mums of Leicestershire will be distraught
  3. He was offside. So maybe they didn't follow protocol by playing on but it's not an injustice.
  4. Though if Neuer had made a very routine save they almost certainly would've gone through.
  5. He whistled it dead anyway
  6. I do like to see a crestfallen German
  7. I think if Nacho grabbed me by the throat I'd probably react similarly
  8. I'd like Kane to win it. And especially Dier after the ridiculous criticism of him from certain sections of the English press and Tottenham fans.
  9. Was really hoping this would be the year Labour stopped being shit but obviously not
  10. When you live in Glasgow and your toilet gets stolen
  11. There are so many characterful little neighborhoods in the Faith district to get lost in. Zeyrek as I mentioned before, also Balat and Fener. Just find a little 'lokanta' - usually the more spartan interior and old blokes the better - and you'll eat amazingly.
  12. Well this week they turned the most glorious Byzantine church-cum-museum back into a mosque. You may still be able to visit Chora church, but I doubt it. Otherwise I really like just meandering through the back streets of Zeyrek finding random Roman and Byzantine ruins or medieval churches converted to mosques, and dipping into cafes for tea and cake or little workers' restaurants for grilled meat and fish. Amazing city, maybe my favorite in the world.
  13. No club has deserved to go down more than Birmingham
  14. Cardiff (H) - My first home game since we'd got knocked out by Blackburn in Feb. The vibes felt totally different right from the start, and the last minute winner from Casadei (no goal music!) felt like our season really lifting off. WBA (A) - I was in the home end and left when they equalised. Heard the commotion when they were coming forward for the second and thought **** it, I may as well watch the end of the match. Got back to the gangway just in time to see KDH breaking away.... Albrighton to Vardy in the Birmingham cup game. Nice bit of nostalgia.
  15. I think a lot of our fans have an intense hatred of them after the 2021 Bass Cup loss
  16. Fulham? Pleasant fans, nice traditional ground, no real big rivalries and not successful enough to annoy anyone.
  17. Really hope Hall wins London so I can blame every stabbing and robbery in the capital on the Conservative Party.
  18. They're on like 19% and nobody is going into coalition with them
  19. I think the point is they are performatively anti immigration but have overseen a staggering increase in immigration in recent years.
  20. I remember that Le Tiss goal from goal of the season but I always thought it was a night game. Interesting to see Mark Atkins score, who was a bit of forgotten hero of that team, Blackburn's Andy King of that era. And also Widdrington for Southampton who recently managed King's Lynn. 94/95 was the first season I watched football and I always enjoy seeing highlights from then.
  21. He did it deliberately I'm sure. Top japes.
