  1. "You negotiated in Italian?" "Yes Susan, in Italian."
  2. He's the Peter O'Hanraha-hanrahan of Directors of Football
  3. Also still looking. Might buy one in the home end next to the away fans then climb over, what's the worst that can happen.
  4. I don't think he needs promotion on his CV like it's an undergrad degree or something. He's proved what he can do and shown what his style of play is, I don't think logically seeing through the promotion really adds to his reputation at this point. Not that I believe he'll leave that soon.
  5. O'Neill's football was direct but I found it more entertaining than the current team. But that's due to other factors, not just tactics. Football is totally different now anyway, even watching the great Arsenal vs United games from the 90s it looks like present day non-league.
  6. I think this is a fair post. I don't always enjoy the football and I think some people are going a bit overboard with some posts that imply anyone nostalgic for the swashbuckling style of 13/14 is some kind of knuckle-dragger. But it's effective, and at times very watchable, and I think the bad atmosphere has less to do with the football than people think. The thousands leaving on 85 minutes is unacceptable and embarrassing though.
  7. People can't have it both ways. They'll say "I can't get enthused about this league" but then also complain that we are playing a style of football that has so far proved extremely effective when trying to get out of it. If our games were finishing 3-2, 2-2, 2-3 and we were in the playoffs would that be better?
  8. And let's face it the people who find this season a waste of time aren't suddenly going to find their voices again if we get back in the Premier League.
  9. I think after a while some (I stress some) STH just go because they paid for it and they want to get their money's worth.
  10. It's pretty crap. Even my Mum, who's 77 and a quite a typical humourless Leicestershire type, complains about the atmosphere. And just a lot of quite weird stuff too - like I said in the Stolarczyk thread, guy behind me at Millwall who was slating him non stop and said Ward was better. Someone a few weeks ago shouting "get it in the box you Chelsea twat" at Casadei. Who are these people?
  11. Someone behind me at Millwall said he thought Ward was better!
  12. Never felt more like singing the blues.
  13. always good to get the goal difference up
  14. Just realised when I open another tab my stream stops. Thought the guy was down injured for like 5 minutes.
  15. Me too until I saw him playing against Milan on Saturday. Thought he looked quite good.
  16. Congrats to them. Wishing them many years of happiness.
  17. In the spirit of the thread: view of our end on 15/05/21. See if you can spot yourself.
  18. Found this: https://www.sportsjoe.ie/quiz/english-cup-winners-quiz-297447 It's a brilliant stat. I doubt there are many in Europe that have won all their domestic trophies. We really are the luckiest fans in the world.
  19. Please cite your source. I know it's true, I just want to share it all over social media.
  20. Chance this gets to members being a long journey midweek in February?
  21. Next to Wayne Lineker
  22. Not Flowers' day
