I sat in the Everton end when we lifted the premier league. Told them early on that I was a Leicester fan and to be fair they were absolute class with me, even bought me a couple of drinks. It got increasingly awkward with each goal going in though
I missed the keeper scoring against Kevin Pressman thankfully, didn't make it to the game on time and from what I recall it happened fairly early
One of my mates couldn't make the United 5-3 game because he was in the dog house with his girlfriend and gave me his ticket
I must admit it was all pretty surface level stuff and like you say only told half of his story here. Didn't even mention the Arsenal rumours. I'll watch anything to do with the bloke or the club during that time but it did leave me feeling a bit short changed on what I expected.
I said the same to my girlfriend about Wes being at the shitty ground instead of the KP. Can't let anyone behind the curtain maybe
On the plus side it was nice to see Nige looking so well and a few other faces from the glory years
Back to reality again now
That's really helpful, thank you.
Yeah I have a young family and will also be looking to buy a house in the next year or two so I think the security of proper employment is the best bet for now.
Well done for going on your own, sounds like the dream
