his wages wouldnt be "sky high" think even the player knows no club would pay him what he was on at West Ham after whats happened with him. and you say about "transfer fess and player compo" yeah but lets not forget about all the things that come with buying a player etc, more than just transfer feees, thats the same with loaning a player too, with loan fees etc also the club wouldnt sign him on a 5 yr deal, it would be till the end of the season(on a base wage which would probably be low with performance bonuses) kinda like they did with Kevin Phillips and its not short termism, its looking at options, cos next summer we wont have 1 first team striker on the books, if he proves his worth i think he could be a decent option for a season or 2 and lure a lower league striker here.....yeah aint gonna happen in Jan now is it, and even in the summer......it will be the same thing as when Vardy first came here, when some fans wanted him gone cos he was "crap" also we arent shopping at the top table no more, players like Antonio are ones we have to look at and find value in personally think he could do a decent job for us till the end of teh season, cant do any worse than Carranza

tbf to MA, hes been training, had a U21s game in august(scored 2 in it) i cant imagine the club paying him prem wages, its more than likely to be a pay as you play or base(low salary) with bonuses send Carranza back, get MA in on a deal till the summer make sure he passes a very strict medical as well

tbf if you look at the business we've done this summer, it hasnt been too bad 15mil for mads 12mil for KM 8mil for Wilf 5mil for JJ 2mil for Coady maybe just maybe theyve learnt, its a big maybe

if we are smart, OTT fitness test, to make sure hes fully fit etc contract till the end of the season with option in the summer send carranza back in Jan imo hes the sort of striker we need
