  1. I worked out earlier this week the following Monga has two assists and Mavididi has one. The latter has played significantly more time on the pitch. Monga has played 9 games to Mavididi’s 27 (90 minutes). Page only has one assist but this comparable players are Skipp (0), Winks(2), James (4), Reid (2). Again their playing time outweighs Page’s. Page with just 5 games compared to Skipp 27, Winks 22, James 25, Reid 17.
  2. Have guess what? I required a takeover for them to get sorted.
  3. Pretty much my feelings as well. As a county Leicestershire easily wins the best in the midlands.
  4. There's the perfect summary of Aiyawatt's time as chairman. The constant attempts at trying to get out of a points deduction with FFP meant that the deduction occurred in a season where it's going to be telling rather than face the punishment when a points deduction would have been irrelevant. That's him and his decision making perfectly summed up.
  5. They all live in West Bridgford. Effectively the Stoneygate of Nottingham with a few more shops. Woodhouse Eaves is probably better and as good as located for Seagrave. Most of the pro cricketers and rugby players (and LCFC women players) in Leicester all live towards Market Harborough or Stamford.
  6. Totally with you on this. The only time those players come into Leicester is on the day of the game. When they went Belvoir Drive, they had to go through very normal streets to get there.
  7. The players will change out of necessity but the key point is cash flow isn't it? When we dipped down to L1 before, our cash flow wasn't great and the club was bobbing along, so L1 wasn't such a shock. Now it most certainly - you'll be lucky if 5% of the money gained from playing in League One pays for Seagrave.
  8. It took Sunderland four seasons to get out of League One but crucially it also required a takeover. The same can be said of Coventry's demise and fall. They are the two biggest clubs I can think that had to spend significant time in L1 & L2. Supporters of the current ownership are supporting job losses and every sign suggests this is going one way. Keep ignoring if you wish.
  9. Good to see Pompey got some bollocks. That's a team you can get behind. Same with Oxford. If they go down, they can say they tried.
  10. Ungrateful being the most used word for weeks
  11. Memories of Pink Cap gate
  12. Some interesting European comparisons Boavista were Portuguese champions in 2001, and they were in third tier by 2011. They no longer exist and the 'club' is essentially the ultras team in about seventh tier. Deportivo La Coruña champs in 2000, had a decent spell but within twenty years were playing third tier football. Verona in 1985, were Serie B by 1995 and eventually went down to third tier in 2007. Kaiserslautern in 1998, Bundesliga 2 by 2007 and then Liga 3 in. 2018. Bordeaux in 2008, fourth tier by 2025
  13. Didn’t he say something about Vichai being on the front of a programme ?
  14. A lot of that came with the hire of Paul Cook from Coventry (since left), unsurprisingly he had a close relationship with Showsec.
  15. First Pompey set piece will be a goal
  16. You have to remember as well that Aiyawatt has born that culture of bad eggs as well. He took them all away to Monte Carlo post-Championship win, some of them have a direct line into him and he's often taken to closed dinner parties etc. Vichai was the same, I suppose the difference was that you had a number of players what realised that wasn't to take piss out of.
  17. He probably thinks this is bad as well. Imagine if he ran a club on the continent with a big ultras group.
  18. It's not been Compass for a year now. The catering and hospitality contract is with Oakview Group.
  19. Held off until sorted. Same happened last year with Eastern Counties last season and they didn't finish until middle of May.
  20. Coalville Town potentially chucked out of the play-offs. Ineligible player claim against potentially double figure points deduction being spoken about.
  21. I disagree. At this point of the season, you need to be a leader. If you are there for the success, you are there for downfall. Like the captain of a ship, you must go down with it
  22. No one wants access cutting off. Believe this or not but a number of journos writing critical pieces have been given a phone call afterwards. Talksport been told off about questions at pre match interviews too
  23. Dunno. He was part of an ownership group what made hundreds of staff missed their expected Xmas pay with 24 hours notice
  24. It’s not cos Belvoir Drive has a load of legal stuff around it which makes it very difficult
  25. I think the entourage vibe when we won the Championship said an awful lot about him personally
