Everton 4-0 LCFC, post match thread
CosbehFox replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think I’m firmly on the board that is the worst PL side we’ve had. 94/95 were a bunch of journeyman but they’d come up with the odd result. Adams had huge mitigating circumstances. This bunch are a joke -
Told ya

At some point, surely you say **** it right? You either:- get some quality in, it goes right, we stay up and everyone happy get some quality in, it goes wrong, you have to sell two or three players, take the points deduction or sign no quality, it goes wrong, you have to sell one or two players, take the points deduction and you can’t get anyone in because of a embargo anyway The option been taken is don’t sign anyone, go down with a whimper and take all the punishment, hoping De Marco gets his third big win of the season
-
It looks it to me as well. Wiped him out
-
He doesn’t. But a good DoF at comparable clubs normally ‘screen checks’ and ‘quality checks’. The DoF also employs the recruitment director. There were so many questions marks on Okoli. Like Coady the previous summer. That anyone in his position should not be spending the amount of money we did on either. Richard Hughes at Liverpool, formerly of Bournemouth isn’t picking players but he’s totally ensuring that their signings follow a pattern of quality, potential and a logical succession path.

Utterly pointless - genuinely don’t care 1. The squad isn’t good enough. Cheers Cooper et al 2. I don’t trust Rudkin and Aiyawatt to appoint anyone innovative 3. Id rather the money go on a defender

I’ve said repeatedly. He’s a total bad egg. The challenge on Beto for a debatable penalty is absolutely a sign of his laziness

Some of them too close to the owner and his lapdog basically Rotten

Our back four is the creation of the DOF & failure to push on. No quality control on decision making so we are left with utter shit. -
I’d be surprised if Kettering fell to Sudbury as rhey are utter doggo. Looking like Quorn v Corby for me. Win that and I think Quorn have as good as won the league already
-
Booked flights to Stockholm - subject to everything fitting into place Sat: Djurgarden women @ 1912 Stockholm Olympic Stadium Sun: Hammarby v Djurgardens Mon: AIK v Malmo

I'd imagine at 34, playing in a league where opposition is far more local and probably with a couple of his own kids is favourable.
-
Funny isn’t it. Because Everton as outright people have come across as the best I’ve ever met. That’s before we get onto things like them actively sell their tickets to Leicester fans for the trophy lift
-
Been offered around everywhere supposedly
-
Talk amongst Villa fans who I work with is that it's simply a silly transfer fee for a headache of a player.

Early AGM: Your Chance To Change The Foxes Trust
CosbehFox replied to Foxes Trust Reform's topic in Leicester City Forum
Thing is Raj, regardless of my position within Reform or now on the board, that board can change if people want it to change. Anyone once a member can put themselves forward - the board is as it is now because of apathy. That's the sad part of it. We have a fanbase is generally apathetic and when they do get involved, they often give up when it doesn't work out. That's why Union FS deserve major, major credit but its worth remembering its taken them 10 years of really, really hard work. There's people at the centre of it who give up so much time and faced some many barriers. Pure hard work. My understanding was that it was an either/or. If you had your surname, they could trace it back. If they had membership number, they could do the same. If they didn't have both, then that was difficult to do. Either way, the disappointing thing have spent nearly a year fighting within the reform campaign is we still needed c100 votes to make the advised change happen. Maybe we didn't present our case well enough, maybe we couldn't get past a social media echo chamber, I don't know. But we move onto the next phase of it all. -
Yeah in the end it was all just ‘dressing’, the status quo stays the same

Some ****ing irony given his own wife

given there’s already rumours that the supporters of Bedford Town are looking to set up a Phoenix club

Safe standing - time to act
CosbehFox replied to Safe Standing Roadshow's topic in Leicester City Forum
I understand why people take the view that the survey and consultation is all irrelevant and the club will chose their own preferred route. And that is the case! The Safe Standing was always going to be a way of illustrating a working FAB and new fan consultation processes. But you have to feed that consultation or survey to build up a big enough case of evidence. The way this club's fanbase is split, this is as much about narrative than anything else. If that safe standing survey got five figures and it was a farce of a system advised, there is a far bigger story what local media and other parties want to take part in. The battle between fans rights & clubs are as much about media use, narrative driving and being proactive rather than reactive. That's one of the few routes available to show up the club as not listening to its fans. But you need the evidence of proof etc. That's why they avoid or delay meeting minutes. It's why they consistently cited various reasons for not giving information. There is simply too much apathy amongst the supporter base to really strike hard. Don't just angry, get doing something. It's worth noting Southampton got their safe standing because the supporters avalanched their club on it , they lobbied their FAB and push them hard on it. To a create enough noise - that the local media would have reported 'Saints ignore fans wishes' if didn't go ahead because they'd create such a load of momentum. -
My thought process is that this survey is utter bollocks. Brentford would be way near the top

Basically it was the poxy National League Cup v Wolves U21s. A bit like the Paint Pot/Bristol St Motors. You have to field so many first teamers to 'protect the integrity of the compeition'. So teams just do this - play first teamers for twenty minutes and sub them off.
