Manchester United (A) Pre-match Thread | Sunday 10th November 14:00
CosbehFox replied to Iran's topic in Leicester City Forum
Thought he was probably our best player. Constantly a threat. Davis couldn’t live with him by the end -
Am I sorry Wymsey, what you mean here? The independent board agreed that we’d broken the rules by £20 million plus. Club very much did something wrong but there was a flaw in the Premier League’s rules

Which one? https://theanalyst.com/eu/2024/08/opta-football-predictions Opta for the first time this season are showing us as staying up

Development/Youth Squads 2024/2025 Thread - U18/U21
CosbehFox replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
Suffered injury on first U21 game of the season - so assume it's that keeping him out -
If that's Ipswich playing well as according to their fans on twitter, I struggle to have them beating anyone but us or Southampton. Nowhere near good enough. Apparently Philips played well? There was one moment where someone from our midfield burst through and it looked like he was treading water.
-
Don't think it's the case here though. They won one game in their last 23 Premier League games
-
I think he looked injured on Saturday but his constant attempts at Davis is exactly what you want from one of your team. Very nearly made the winner
-
It’s going to be too much of gap to be attractive and they don’t have Uncle Jorge’s number anymore The Chinese owners have pulled additional investment and are running it as a money in, money out business now. They’ve slowly decayed the squad bit by bit and now left with a shoddy defence

The Running Thread (formerly How fast can you run a 5k?)
CosbehFox replied to Sly's topic in General Chat
Good weekend of running. A sub 24 on a park run nearby Cambridge on way to Ipswich. Shower at a services and away we went. 15k yesterday done at a sound effort without pushing myself and still quite chuffed with the time -
O’Neil been given a lot of time and faith when you look at those stats excluding the tough start The signs of Wolves is very much lcfc two years ago
-
Opta super computer has us staying up for the first time this season at the moment
-
Missus got an issue with me going to London with such a dashing chap like yourself MTWG
-
Wycombe haven’t lost in the league since their second game of the season to Birmingham (and their first game was a loss to Wrexham). It took Villa to knock them out of the League Cup.
-
Some good ties there for the teams from non league. I can’t see Harborough being on, much like when Coalville were at Charlton
-
Loved Glass Animals today - Motorpoint is such a nice sized arena for this sort of thing as well annoyingly
-
Just got off the phone with Howard Webb says Leicester are now one of the big clubs, so we are protecting you
-
That tackle on André Gomes always springs to mind
-
I think the reason for this is Conor Chaplin recorded 4 shots off target and normally that’s four goals to Ipswich via two deflections
-
Anyone using the last ten games as a projection for performance across the season is not acknowledging that we’ve played four of the five below us. The quality of the opposition increases now.
-
Don’t disagree. I’m just saying won’t get VK as high up the pitch as Davis because Cooper has organised his defence that the right back is either pushes on or inverts, so the left back stays ‘at home’ more

He really was a whopper for this - Muric took the piss out of him -
He doesn’t drive forward ala Leif Davis because he’s clearly told tactically not to do it. His crossing is great and he produced a half chance from it yesterday. He’s set goals at City before with his crosses (Wolves at home). He was highly effective with Bologna using his left leg

Apparently Kettering’s squad walked in the Sixfields Tavern for a beer after and it nearly kicked off 😂
-
In addition Hinckley Athletic in 1954/55 played Rochdale and in 62/63 played Queens Park Rangers in the Second Round
-
luckless Ipswich - must have had his eyes shut over the course of last season
