  1. Both are very well regarded kit designers
  2. Would think it's appropriate to point out in the last two working days, two horrid cases of sexual abuse and paedophilia have seen two people correctly sentenced for 18 years and a life sentence with a minimum of 20 years.
  3. It's his fourth crime of this nature - he's made the life of a fifteen year old (at the time) escaping war a target for utterly repulsive characters.
  4. New Half Marathon World Record over the weekend 57:30!
  5. Loved wearing turtlenecks too.
  6. Word seems to be that Amorim will hold for Man City given Hugo Viana going in situ and Pep's timeline looking increasingly short(er).
  7. Accepted but they haven't really been fit listening to Palace fans and the recent break/sub appearances has been about getting them recharged. Mateta fatigued after Olympics and Wharton still carrying something from the summer/Euro's.
  8. Some good news overnight - it looks like the Aussies might becoming over next winter for a test series. This is a huge chance for RFL - don't play games at Wigan etc. Get a London stadium booked and pick a couple of bigger grounds in the North.
  9. Only caveat to that is I think the South Section of the Trophy is weaker. Think their challengers for the league will be Cheshire alongside Caledonia (who playing European basketball at the moment) Interested to see how London Lions progress. They've had a significant budget reduction but they still have a decent roster for British basketball.
  10. Hmmm they infinitely look better yesterday with Wharton and Mateta fit
  11. Other thought to my mind is does an annual remembrance service start to lose its impact rather doing it rather more intermittently? We aren't far away from the first team playing side not having a personal exchanges with the fella.
  12. A lot of unpaid work and time there but what can be achieved
  13. Ahhh what you described was literally what happened two seasons ago when we did them 4-0
  14. Literally did the week before at Southampton and when did them 4-0 two season ago or when did them 3-2 at their place. I agree our supporters are in a routine but there’s many what would be the same in the similar scenario. There’s a handful of fanbases in England who are militant enough or passionate enough step outside of that apathy for me
  15. One team is playing well, the other playing not so well. The atmosphere on Monday night at City Ground was largely shocking v Palace. English football fans have this cyclic mindset. Countless clubs who had great atmospheres, now bad and vice versa. Seen it with Cov in particularly recently
  16. Concise and to the point, bang on. He’s made some promises in his time of that nature
  17. That more passionate supporters comment is straight from the Liverpool ‘this means more’ trope
  18. The worst effect out of us losing on Friday is people talking about Ryan Yates for the ****ing England team. Maybe at second row FFS
  19. Poor excuse in my opinion. The loudest atmosphere I’ve ever been in was a modern, built in the last fifteen years stadium. To the point that most City support were totally overwhelmed by the noise. Even so there was a very small occasion where 800 what attended gained a reaction out of Legia with whistling. Lovely, small modern stadia. Northern Europe is now rife with modern stadia. It’s not stopping countries elsewhere make atmospheres. It’s largely apathy at a club like LCFC. Lots of finger pointing, lots cants when all it takes is people to open their voice. Don’t like the song being sung? Start a new one. Try and try and try.
  20. Hmmm doesn’t really work like that given the opposition waiting us between games 11 to 19. The games v West Ham and Wolves will be so important
  21. Nope it shouldn’t but that’s where we are. Even if you want to take the position of defending the top hierarchy of the footballing side of things, you can easy advocate (as you have that) that a fresh approach and style is required. Every club needs to evolve
  22. But as soon as that club played fellow top European side, he’d look out of his depth and make the errors we know. See his performances for Belgium recently
  23. People are forgetting the situation Emery took the Villa job in. They were down towards the bottom and Gerrard had wasted the Grealish money on the likes of Danny Ings. If Villa didn’t stay up that season, they would have been huge complications and they’d have faced similar issues to ourselves. It’s forgotten we still spent over £40 million in the January transfer window under Rodgers; that would have Emery in control of that as well
  24. The latter two sentences is why we’ve got a huge problem. You are never going to get a manager who will challenge above him. Cooper fits that fall guy perfectly Enzo found that out. His chum Guillem said it plenty times. Followed by Potter’s ‘if you change rhis, I’ll take the job’ The best hope we’ve got is that they bring in a confrontational foreign manager who impressed in interview and manages to win over a couple at board level, then challenges/calls out.
  25. Speak to Rudkin. It’s been his ambition every time. It probably won’t happen next time due to agent beef now
