Penny dropping to some here - the club’s FFP situation is dire. We’ve flogged Barnes, Castagne and now KDH in a single financial year. That’s horrific It won’t be a swap deal. They will be some dollar for us.
-
Surprised people are so shocked. Was always going to be a horrible deal like this.
-
3 goals in the PL to date. Mad he’s going to for those numbers

Cracking town Shrewsbury - the market hall there is superb. Shame the ground is so far out from it.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
CosbehFox replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
The original post I replied was that the club's strategy was to ignore the PSR rules. We'd have been aware of our FFP position when the summer transfer window closed. We will find out when the results come out in December whether it's justifiable position. -

LCFC knew they need to sell a player from the Summer transfer window to make any further room on FFP. That was also mentioned by the journalists closest to the club. If they sold a player, they would have been no need for the structuring of the Sensi deal. LCFC went after the deal in the last 48 hours despite the awareness of that a player need to leave. -
I was told at the weekend in Poland that school kids finished on Friday there for two months Germany is down to the individual 'states' - they normally scatter them so the holiday/tourism market isn't overwhelmed - ie. some kids are off now in some parts of the country, others aren't.

He's quite a fit. Seems to be Tigers were going to back McKellar despite misgivings and then Cheika came available.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

Disagree. Such a strategy doesn't explain the paralysis over the summer of 2022 and the official line was that we were aiming for FFP compliance. If we were ignoring them, we'd have carried on spending. They are clueless IMO - at one point its all systems go and at others, it's we need to comply. They flip-flopped during the January 2024 window on their position. -
Seeing those bunch of arseholes at Sussex celebrate with a wicket like that - lunch nearly came back up

Group C: Slovenia, Denmark, Serbia, England
CosbehFox replied to Mark's topic in General Football and Sport
Rift within the squad would be my assumption. Never seen so many media figures go hard at England since 2010. Apparently FA's media person has been touchy about the criticism last night and told media sources to rein it in. EDIT: Just seen your earlier post! -
Rival thread opened - merge Mods Vingegaard fit - but be amazed if he can get near Pogacar. Thomas and Pidcock acting as domestics for Bernal 10 Brits amongst 6 teams this year by my count.

The Turkey v Czechia game is all important. Czech’s win but any more than a three goal victory creates a problem -

Just drove past Narborough Arms, utterly amazed the garden is nearly already full to watch terrorist ball in a very nearly dead rubber -
Majority of my post wasn't aimed as any reply to yours btw other the immediate point. It may well happen - if it does I don't think it will be as successful as the PL think
-
They didn't. Man City and Liverpool fans said they enjoyed the Shield at LCFC - no excuse not to freshen it up.

It would be middle of the season. Opening day games already have a monetary notion to them - it's sell-outs galore and good coverage on TV abroad. Somewhere like Thailand wouldn't work with the weather too at that time of year. NBA, MLB and NFL all do it middle of the season but they also have quirks in their scheduling which allow it and them schedules already were skewed. See I don't think it works still the 39th game idea because when you look a bit closer - it's not going to heaps of cash or increase interest. The big clubs will but everyone else loses out. They will end up doing an international series if anything whereby it's a game once a season. The American sports work on these international games because there is no comparable competition. Even NBA which does wouldn't think go into mainland Europe (Paris games weren't that successful) because there's a highly respected European super league. International fans are knowledgable far more now. MLS has grown partly organically a decent competition which can attract really interesting prospects from South America. The folk in the US won't over for also-rans and you'll see this in the summer when teams like Wolves and West Ham are playing each other, that they won't be sold out. The PL abandoned their own Asia Trophy and the friendlies we saw LCFC in last summer were sparely attended, even when including Liverpool/Spurs. There isn't a lot of actual money to be had in South East Asia. Japan/Korea may be yes but they have mature domestic leagues. The US will have issues with stadium availablity where all football based stadiums will be in the midst of their season and they won't hand them over easy. So you into baseball arenas or soccer specific stadiums which goes back to that - why watch Bournemouth, when you can watch your own local team. The PL and the club owners might try but in do so, it's a huge misunderstanding of how global football is.
-
It wouldn’t be the literal 39th game. It would be in the midst of the season just like NFL, MLB and NBA do

Wroclaw Park Run on Saturday - a back in and out, flat as can be, gravel. If I wasn't sweating alcohol, that would defo be a PB track. Quite an experience doing a park run abroad. About to sign up to Leicester Half this week. -
Russell Levinson, a big part behind the scenes has left at Riders. Lots of rumours he may be an interim league director - British Basketball have confirmed they are working on getting an 'interim' pro league together with other parties. They have had no contact from 777.
