Point 5 has long been debated by the way behind the scenes. It’s something the FSA look for all clubs to implement. There is a panel of 3 at each sanctions committee meeting. The idea is that one of those 3 should be a fan based individual, possibly with a legal background rather. This is for club bans rather than authority issued bans

The two cans of Steady Rolling Man yesterday were superb at Lords Anyway, went to the Pocket yesterday in Islington. This is the sister pub to Southampton Arms (Gospel Oak). It’s literally the same pub but no pork cobs. Tamil Crown as well afterwards - superb grub

My other take from Lords is that whilst the ticket price is high; the ability to take some booze in, a decent spread plus the food/drink being actually reasonable (in particular compared to Headingley), it’s actually about a money neutral compared to the trip I had up to Leeds and the day at Edgbaston

Thoroughly enjoyed my day at Lords with the Toby’s and the Hugo’s. Some big lulls and survived the roasting of the sun on us for the first two and half hours. Saw the Ashes Urn and had picnic in garden. Advise anyone to go at least once.

Other clubs attempted plenty of tactics to boost the crowds too. We've just sat offering Male ST holders the occasional free ticket. Some clubs did double headers. Some clubs did special event days. Some clubs built rivalries - why have we not taking advantage of Birmingham City's poor performance to create a genuine top flight derby v Villa? They've done very little other than suggest it's there for FFP relief.

One of the big benefits of the effort this time around is that we now have a big marker in terms of performance - next summer something very similar will go out with some tweaks that we've learnt, we can illustrate improvements or the opposite trend. Obviously we'd love to make the next leap in survey numbers towards something like 5k and one of our big learning curves has been how do we get younger people involved / how do we get to those who haven't had sight of the survey etc. We will attempt to work that out. Somethings went really well with it, some less so. Ultimately the best achievement has been getting out there, listening to people and learning. If you look at the internet boards, you'd think this great divide but when you start to zone in on subjects, I think there isn't. We haven't been united as enough as fanbase and that's one of the huge challenges we face. To create platforms where we can have disagreements but near outcomes that we all want. Begin to create some form of fan culture which I think LCFC really struggles with.

Just remember we’ve lowered membership fees down to a £5 which will give you full voting rights, input to members only surveys and we hope to scale that up to more events too (my little area). If you are a member whose paid a £10, you get two years for your membership We really want to push membership numbers, get the wide ranging opinions fed into us and really become a figure that as increasing weight for media and alike

yep, it wouldn’t take a lot of work to 100% increase the attendance, it’s a genuine area of growth
