Yeah the same girl who worked for LCFC. If I am thinking what you are getting at. Read into that what you will.

The EFL is better for notice but gets absolutely stupid at the end of the season with late changes. -

That would be nice and sexy on the booze -
Very regarded at Hammarby as well.
-
This would be a good point if the existing reality wasn't so bleak.
-
Because as mentioned repeatedly it’s got complicated covenants on it as well as some land belonging to the YMCA
-
Yeah I wouldn't have Textor has the sort of American you want. Take a look at Lyon
-
My wider point was that Dyche after initially doing it, stopped buying 18/19 yr olds to make the step up and went whole hog on the proven professional line
-
Yeah but we needed to maintain the one big departure in the summer pattern. We didn’t

If you look at our ten biggest sales, all of them went to big six bar Newcastle and Al Nassr.

Tarkowski had played over 140 games for Oldham & Brentford by the time he joined Burnley. Matt Lowton over 150 for Sheffield United & Aston Villa Taylor over 120 for Leeds & Fleetwood. I don't doubt he didn't have much to use from at Burnley or Everton but there was a time when he appeared to have no problem taking a gamble on young players such as Ings and Gray, that looked to have dried up largely.
-
Same on international breaks - club literally goes into shutdown mode from my experience.
-
Plenty examples of Dyche wanting young players to play upwards of 50 plus games before he starts fielding them.

That interview just confirms they've lost any protection they had via the government and defacto the media. Those privileges are gone and now they have to show proper business acumen to turn this around.
-
Not like they haven't got a track record of this. Where they use an excuse in a trope like fashion. Citing Covid as the reason why we couldn't sell players and Ben White was getting brought by Arsenal for £50 million.

No easy answer really Brescia were deducted four points (originally), then eight and it seemed that way but they’ve subsequently gone pop. Some believe if Brescia stayed in Serie B without the points deduction then the money to keep them going woukd have been found.

A triple on the way back from the cricket on Friday; Bankers Cat, Leeds followed by Brunswick, Derby followed by Ale Wagon, Leicester Some bad news to report from Birmingham however. Two big closures!! The Anchor in Digbeth nearby the Bus Station closed and Post Office Vaults is closing citing the cost of their bottles are 30% upwards. Throw in Zumhof and Hockley Dining Club in the process of closing, a real sign of the times. Throw in reports that some of the suburbs such as Stirchley are reaching over saturation and one big pub in particular there has asked for a 2am licence which I think we go to the detriment of the micro pubs/craft places around there. Brum in a bit of a pickle.

I have a huge concern that the stability and getting the players organised et al is a bit of red herring. That can not be doubted at Burnley but that was a squad he built. At Everton, his man management stifled players and it was absolute bear minimum performance from them to stay up over some really poor sides.

Anti. Forest plonker.

Said it before on here but it’s the real Nolan masterpiece and it’s a film whats matured brilliantly
-
Shifty, Adam Curtis’ latest documentary, more in the style of his series about Russia but this time from Thatcher in 1979 to the mid 1990s, depressingly good
-
Exactly my thoughts. Appear to be losing their protection a bit. Combined with some political upheaval. There was always a good chance of a potential end game like this.

In person iver there ? The commentator / studio punditry largely being done from the UK I read

I remember when a common defence of Rudkin and Top 18 months ago was that people of their ilk don’t do these events

Often think as a supporter base we really lack events and celebrations of our history, a real empty void of supporter culture being missed. UFS are a beacon with events such as this standing out
