Cricket (None Leicestershire County Cricket Club)

FT always good for some vibe - albeit Pant is a total fool there -
Just find it a bit strange a bloke local to Macclesfield, put considerable time and effort into getting the club back into a decent shape, has decided to forgo a division jump (think Macc could get promoted next year) to a club which is at times a total basket case with zero sustainability. He's got to have had a strained relationship with the owner or similar.

They did exactly the same to Worcester Rugby

**** me nearly had a happy episode of the Bear (Season 4, Episode 3)

I look at Brownhill and I get same vibe as someone like Reid. Decent season last time but not the right side of 30 and hardly been some consistent beacon at a higher level before

We are. The club appear to completely abandoned support when it’s one of the areas where growth is more easily attainable

Still waiting for Dyche last week ya dreamer

Tallies with a someone contacting the Trust saying they had no contact at all regards their hospitality offering and it was only after chasing in the last few days they got a reply

Feedback I heard was that he was so detached away from knowing what football fans actually were that often he couldn't understand the position of supporters

Don't think Belfield is anywhere near a comparison here - he was in prison for stalking (he's been released). The Police officer investigated him successfully won a libel case against him because of the untruth nonsense Belfield was spreading about him to which Belfield apologised.

Yep a modern classic. Manages also capture something film and TV has struggled to do and that’s British holidays. How To Have Sex is another good British film set on a package holiday away

And he was told proven right by all his comments from that period

Some time has passed since then though. Two of his kids are whacking them in for Man City Academy.

Am I being too pessimistic for the new season?
CosbehFox replied to SkidsFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
I agree this is a squad which on paper won the league and should be too good. But there was some awful frailties shown from February through to mid-April against quite poor sides. We got 10 from a possible 30. This co-incided largely with Ricardo getting injured - was that a system thing or rather our midfield /right back was shit without him? -
It will be hosted by Brazil next and it will look completely different.

Lionesses v Jamaica - KP Stadium - Sunday 29 June
CosbehFox replied to davieG's topic in General Football and Sport
Just under 26 thousand. Great to see so many kids captivated by it all. -
You’ll probably find they are not that many grounds who willing to host the game so deep in the summer. Others prioritising gigs or pitch work. Given the weather of the last three weeks, it’s not a surprise it’s not in great condition. That said, excellent event yesterday. You can tell England are so much better at presentation than LCFC

Looks like they might have made the bridge into popularity after that performance

Breath of fresh air being in the ground which is completely in with (even if it’s a very different type of crowd). We need the DJ anyway, some tunes played this afternoon -
No. I’ve listened - my general listening is around 6music sort of level. Not a fan but I can see why some would. I just find it a bit off that a band of their current size have been in a position to produce a film about their background. The name is purposely in bad taste. Therefore that’s always going to put them under a microscope Welcomed their principal stand on Stella B and using their awarded money on both loyalists / republican charities

As much as I defend the right for them to say something, it is admittedly why I’m very suspicious of Kneecap. It feels like a brand

Paul Pry and Dragon Inn, Worcester. Absolutely superb pubs

The Running Thread (formerly How fast can you run a 5k?)
CosbehFox replied to Sly's topic in General Chat
Good weekend of running albeit not particularly quick 10k as the sun came out around Groby, Ratby and Glenfield - some sneaky hills - on Saturday 5k this morning around Worcester (and mostly it’s racecourse).
