  1. Saying that a new manager will need to plan ahead of the first day back in training. Plus if were are to buy then move in quick as possible
  2. When does everyone think we will hear new appointment. I reckon by next Wednesday. Surely they wont want drag this through the summer.
  3. Apparently fa have finally paid off the Wembley debt!! And are set to look to play more England internationals around the country for next two years. Be good to see stadiums host an England first team international that never before... like Ashton Gate, Carrow Road, Amex, new everton stadium, Deepdale.
  4. Wooo hes back!!
  5. Cooper is not the most exciting appointment, more realistic under the current circumstances. You can go out there and appoint a Steve Bruce, who as shocking record at the level playing the most negative football.
  6. When Cooper was sacked by Forest, they were sitting 17th in premier league five points above the drop with the chairman signing players left, right and centre. Nuno steps in by the end of season they finished 17th... stayed up yes but league position wise no difference and six points above the bottom three. If you look Cooper's career he's decent success and shown progression 2017: England Under 17's: Fifa Under 17's World Cup Winners 2017: England Under 17's: Under 17's European Championship Runners Up 2019: Takes over at Swansea City- Previously finished 10th in the championship under Potter, 2020: Play Off semi finalists after finishing 6th 2021: Play Off runners up after finishing 4th... Cooper quits after (Since then Swansea City have failed to make the play offs) 2021: Cooper takes over at Forest with them sitting bottom of the championship in late September 2022: Cooper guides Forest to promotion via the play offs 2023: Forest survive in the premier league finishing 16th, four points above the drop I do feel we would do a lot worse, I do feel people are basing it more that he's ex forest, the idea of appointing your rivals reject. If it wasn't Forest and say it was someone like Everton or Fulham I think he would be a popular appointment. I think if Forest had allowed him to his job and gave him full control, I think they would have climbed higher up the table, to much going on from the owner and constantly under the pressure of being fired. He's proved he can get the best out of the youngsters and maybe with the tight budget the foxes may face, we may need to build a young side for the future. Maybe Cooper is the ideal fit for this.
  7. Is the Cooper dislike purely because he used to manage Forest.
  8. Problem in previous tournaments has never been the defence it's more getting the goals into the back of the net at the other end. Euro 21 we had the best in the whole tournament only conceding two goals. The world cup 22... once again I think it was only 2 in that game in that defeat to France. In that game we had the better chances but didn't take them.
  9. Southgate been ruthless this time around, imagine on back of Euro 21.... where we reached the final. The squad that day featured likes of Sterling, Rashford, Grealish, Henderson, Phillips, Mount, Sancho all not going to Germany. Some massive names in their, just shows England strength at the moment. Compare that to so called Golden Era, were three tournaments in row the same squad featured and players would be picked even if their leg was hanging off.
  10. Lol I think I'm getting him mixed up with another player.
  11. There's scene in particular, where he's doing the famous line "I'm getting framed for something I didn't do" along those lines.. he's shouting it across the airport in front of the passengers. But instead of looking around and addressing the passengers around, he's looking into the air like he's doing a monologue on stage to the audience. Moment's like this.. is when director steps and goes "cut", "Richard it's on TV, audience are watching through the camera. Passengers around are the ones your addressing... not the gods"
  12. Good recruitment at brighton. Whilst weve still got Rudkin.
  13. Probably a tournament too soon for Braithwaite only featured for Palace in last few months of the season, but certainly a role for him in the future. Cant blame him for dropping Maddison or Grealish. Maddison has been injured for large periods whilst Grealish hasnt featured enough for his club.
  14. My big problem with Richard Armitage he's performing like he's on stage, some of his lines are delivered theatrically rather than natural. Performing in like a stage can make really strange watching on the TV. Miscast comes to mind... he's okay actor but I've seen this in number of his performances on film and TV.
  15. Southgate certainly don't like Maddison
  16. No one as confidence in us getting past France, despite us some what being the bookies favourites. They seem to be our bogey team in recent years.
  17. For me Semi's will be Netherlands v Spain France v England With the final Spain v France Spain end up being the winners
  18. B'Stard had all worked out
  19. Taking Man United aside, people forget Ole took Cardiff down despite them sitting 16th in the premier league when he took over, when he was sacked about a year later they sat 14th in the championship...
  20. Boro in the same level, think we got a better deal in terms of the teams and trips will be facing. Coalville should storm that league.
  21. Did I not say "not the best candidates"
  22. It'll likely be someone out of work I think, either Rafa or maybe a return of MON. Maybe not the best candidates at the moment.
  23. Venom 3 trailer out... yeah looks okay. Dont expect to be no1 at the box office this year or even get in top ten.
  24. Farage always gets a free drink 😆 Notice these people wont dare go for Sunak who lets face it is more than a joke. Farage aint the problem, people who blame him for brexit, should blame the people who didnt turn up to vote.
