  1. I think hed have been better off sitting it out.
  2. Good start for Potter... one game and already out the fa cup 😆
  3. Any plans for a new stadium for Kettering? Im sure that was being discussed at one point.
  4. Yep but loyal tamworth fans expected to be an extra £20.
  5. Bored of reading stories like this, we get punished but clubs like Man City, Chelsea can get away scot free.
  6. Rob Edwards surely facing the job, Luton at risk of double relegation. Neil Harris available think he'd do a great job at the Hatters.
  7. Coton Green Saturday for me, never heard of them... basically an area just outside Tamworth. Hoping it goes ahead, but 50/50. Its in the Wilnecote part of the area.
  8. I used to have soft spot for Barwell and wanted them to do well but since Ginnelly went back seem less keen. I notice always signs the same players no matter where he goes. 10 of the 11 players played for him at Nuneaton Borough last season or season before last. Noticed goalkeeper Tony Breeden ex Boro keeper just announced hes left Spalding United... no guess where hes going. Apparently hes after Matty Stenson from Telford, who i think is there leading scorer. Once again an old recruit from Nuneaton Borough, ironically he works for Ginnelly in his daytime job!! Why you want to leave Telford for Barwell i dont know... but dont rule anything out.
  9. Douglas Luiz is apparently being made available by Juventus to go out on loan. Luiz is keen to return to premier league, could we afford him on loan or is it tad adventurous for us.
  10. Big thing for Coalville, Hinckley afc and Nuneaton Boro, is to try and have a go in the FA Vase next season. Only chance of a trip to wembley and further you get the crowds will increase. I recall Barwell getting to the Semi's and facing Whitley Bay and attracting 3k to Kirby Road.
  11. Both are cowards, in their minds there doing a good job.
  12. Over 30k people give you vote of no confidence yet you still remain in the job. Surely Rudkin hears the chants and must think "I probably better off stepping down"
  13. Ruud will stay till may but yeah if sees no development he will certainly leave in the summer.
  14. Championship was fun last year, but considering we were once stuck their for ten years... i'm not so sure.
  15. Did lack gags got to say
  16. What was the attendance, i know last two seasons before the demotion there average gate was like 400.
  17. Only slight positive think i can say the last two games we have been up against teams in the champions league and haven't exactly played us off the park. Man City were fortunate last week, while today felt more like some poor defensive moments let us down. QPR next week in the cup is a must win to boost confidence and bring belief.
  18. With this squad we have this season no manager would be able to get anything out of this bunch. Cant be bothered to blame RVP or even Cooper come to mention it.
  19. One worse fact Ayew was part of that Villa's squad that only got 17 points and finished bottom, the year we won the Premier league. 8 years later we sign him 😒
  20. Boro win 4-1 at home to Wednesfield, freezing afternoon in beduff. Pretty straight forward victory, no complaints. Wednesfield goal came out of nowhere. Attendance of 379, expected more but only guess the weather... but ive known it worse. Next week its us and 3rd place Coton Green. Who usually attract 30 fans, expecting a big crowd of 600 at coton i think, a few tamworth fans may decide to attend seeing as they dont play till Sunday... so police leave cancelled 😒
  21. Another defeat and no surprise, 1-2 defeat to Villa at VP wouldn't sound like the worse thing. But still second from bottom with nothing.
  22. I remember weirdly in late 00's Aston Villa reserves used to play a few home games their, not exactly that close to Birmingham.
  23. Efl status, i remember the old Hinckley united board spoke highly about getting into the football league with that stadium. I think when it was opened in 2005 they targeted a five to six year plan to get into efl. Another club that chased a dream and fell well off target and suffered as a club.
