  1. I thought you were exaggerating but that's unbelievable. Living in a world of her own. Is she a journo or just another twat with an opinion? Not that there's much difference.
  2. My banana is too ripe, this day is bullshit.
  3. The traffic lights were mostly green on the drive to work this morning so I didn't get to read any of the news and football.
  4. Isn't it a mental illness?
  5. I got my girlfriend a Chromebook for similar sounding use. She loves it but it is a bit different to windows devices in terms of the UI etc if that's what she's used to. 3x cheaper than a MacBook as well.
  6. I know, I'm being a grumpy bastard I am actually sick of having to deal with entitled customers though, feeling pretty jaded. Nobody cares that you can't get your green tea, yeah it's a slight inconvenience but go somewhere else or buy something slightly different and stop giving staff shit. I have a similar one though, the free coffee machine at work is being replaced so no free coffee today!
  7. Why do you think you have a right to be served certain things? If you don't like their selection you can go somewhere else.
  8. What's the problem? You can book flights and accommodation anywhere. Whats being single got to do with it?

    Depression

I think that last bit is key. I felt so relieved when I googled my medication and found forums full of people experiencing depression and anxiety as side effects as well. Can't believe I didn't notice sooner. My (now) girlfriend helped me through it, was always really supportive even if I didn't fully admit it was depression, I just told her how I was feeling. I can't recommend telling someone you trust enough, it can really help.

It's great when you build up to that and they tell you to look at a website and let you know about a stress workshop they have at the clinic in 2 months time.
  11. Exactly, I'd take a title win followed by relegation over 2nd place and midtable the following year. Not saying either will necessarily happen but a title win would eclipse anything else.
  12. Delayed It was never going to be released in time for Season 6, I'd be surprised if it was out this year. Wouldn't be amazed to see it released in 2018 tbh.
  13. I think a Will Hill spokesman came out this week and said for business reasons, they weren't Leicester fans at the moment. I'd have assumed what you were saying is true, bit confused about the numbers.
  14. Go on the forums or on reddit, they'll have lots of mod info. Colonial Charter is essential for any longevity. The base game is a fantastic achievement considering it was made entirely by one bloke but Colonial Charter is a great addition from the modding community. I even saw one the other day for an Arabic-style mod in development. Check out reddit.com/r/banished I can't bring myself to get back into it, it was just as much of a time sink as Cities: Skylines. 15. My guy sounds great as well. He's already got quotes and info on car hire from the airport and sent us a couple of amazingly detailed and informative itineraries for day trips away from the capital. I'm very positive about it.
  16. Have you asked your doctor about speaking to a therapist/someone more qualified? I know my GP was worse than useless when I went in to speak to her about depression and anxiety. I was on prednisolone (steroid) for a condition I'd recently been diagnosed with and I was really suffering, I just felt empty, never wanted to be around people or leave the house, talking to people felt very stressful and it took me long enough to build up to see the GP about it and she effectively blew me off. I've never really found any medical professional to talk to about it and eventually came off the medication and things settled back down but I had a really close friend (now girlfriend) that got me through it. Having someone to talk to can really help with it so I'd recommend trying to find someone to vent to. Does your work have a HR department? They might deal with stuff like that if it's a big company. If not, I'd urge you to press your GP or even ask to speak to a different GP. PM me if you like, I've dealt with similar sounding stuff and I know it's horrible.
  17. As long as you're getting a good variety of macro/micro nutrients from your diet it's fine. You're not getting much fat from yours but that's not the end of the world. Not sure about vitamins and such, try inputting it into myfitnesspal or something along those lines, it'll show you what you're missing out on.
  18. Beside the point but it was also like 4 years ago, it's just been rehashed now for some reason.
  19. I know, I used to play it way too much, been seeing my mrs for about 9 months now, I think my end to playing it coincided with her, probably for the best. Such a time sink but it's hard to hop on for half an hour.
  20. New mod released today that puts in a proper day cycle. If you have the after dark dlc this means that cims will follow a proper cycle. Ie. Rush hour, people going to bed at night etc. Could be one of the biggest and most important mods yet. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=605590542
  21. Hey! I'll be honest, I haven't fired it up for about 6 months now, I had become a little bit addicted to it, it was too easy to go on in the evening and spend 6 hours on there. I'll still keep in the loop on reddit and other forums to see what's going on and what the modding scene is like. You've just got to go with the flow really, it's fun to just create a sprawl. Start off small with some communities, how you'd expect a real town to grow. You'll have things like a high street and an industrial area where your residents can commute to and then a few housing estates. From there you just expand. Use the land to inspire you, you can have hillside and lakeside areas for example. It helps to split your city into districts/areas just like a real one would be. I'd recommend checking out reddit.com/r/citiesskylines I've got a lot of inspiration on there and people showcase some cool mods on there. There's not a huge variety of buildings and assets in the base game so adding modpacks can help you create all sorts. One final thing, don't feel like you have to stick to a city if you're not getting on with it. If you're not happy after a couple of hours then just work out what you're not happy about, start again and try and learn from it.
  22. You tried Jaipur X? Never got round to it as it's always £7/8 but heard it's meant to be good. Currently loving Adnams Broadside for supermarket beers.
  23. Armani Diamonds yo.

You go to some weird house parties.
  25. ****ing hell, this. Every time I go between SHeffield and Leicester and there's the slightest bit of traffic there's so many of these idiots who's brake lights are constantly on up the arse of the car in front. Makes me wonder how they even worked out how to operate a car in the first place. It's like they think they have to have their foot on either the accelerator or the brake at any one time.
