  1. Okay clear up time. First reaction was on the line stream (which I'll remind everyone the commentators didn't even clock as a foul) and I didn't realise what had happened. Then saw a replay from a reverse angle which looks like he's stuck a foot in to win the ball. After this I've seen a closer one with the sweeping leg and yeah it does look ****ing unnecessary. I'll be honest, not really feeling angry, just completely deflated. I was really enjoying that game, buzzing for fans back in the ground, we were looking sharp. And then this lads season is just ripped out from under him and I realised the severity of it. Took me briefly back to watching Eriksen at the Euros, obviously not the same, but similar emotions. I feel gutted, we looked good and everything was going great and then bang. That lads life for the next 6-12m is just up in the air, I'm genuinely distraught for him, he seems like such a good young lad and he's settled well, he's Leicester. We can disect the tackle and that but let's focus on that great performance and getting being the lads and helping lil Wes get back to doing that he does
  2. Completely normal challenge, very unfortunate. Gonna be hard for all the lads, they'll all be keen to get off and find out what's gone on. All the best to Wes of course, we're a family here and he'll have everything he needs, big up to the lads!
  3. I've no idea how you have the strength to talk about your situation so candidly and so strongly. You should be proud, signed as well of course.
  4. Looks hench in training and won the bleep test by the looks of the training vids. Looking forward to seeing him on the pitch.
  5. Maybe it's things like the daily mail whipping boomers up into a frenzy whenever we play Germany.
  6. Agreed, he wasn't quite as stand out as Fofana but I thought he was a rock. Great positioning, clearing headers, stood players up well, decision making when closing down. Just a very very solid performance. Only downside I remember was letting Mount squeeze round him that time on the edge of the box. Great to see he can do it with just him and Wes, hopefully the more games they get the better they become as a back 2.
  7. If you're gonna drink it might as well be now. It's a nice thing to collect though, go get yourself a normal bottle and hang on to that one.
  8. Can we just close this thread? Embarrassing seeing it constantly at the top after we've won the FA Cup. He's been a bit of a knob since moving and that's it, he celebrated an equaliser after getting abuse all match. No need to get all pissy about it, it's done with.
  9. We lost my dad 18 years ago (18, wow) and he'd never have believed what's happened to this club the last few years, I wish I could see it. His best friends got to watch at Wembley today, there would have been a seat there for him. Much love to anyone else wishing a loved one could have seen this.
  10. Cemented in history, wow
  11. What a performance. Delighted for him
  12. Yes, paint the town blue for us
  13. We can see you all feel something special for this club. We believe in you, go out and put 100% in and we'll be proud of you for all you've achieved. You've all got us to a place where 5 years ago we'd only dreamed of. Today this is your club at much as ours, do it for all of us!
  14. Made the right changes in the 2nd half, hats off to him. Not only the right subs but there were definitely tweaks to the shape and tempo that they failed to adjust to. Great to see.
  15. This guys running on confidence. Masterclass from Brendan here. Wow wow wow
  16. Eze seems to look sharp every time I see him. Happy with an unchanged line up though!
  17. The sexy long legged Portuguese stallion! I trust our scouting team and we're needing in that area. Definitely get some Mahrez vibes, from the videos I've seen him in. End product and decision making needs some work and that can be hard to drill but if he's a hard worker then there's plenty of poye there. This is where contacts & networking come in, does he have the right attitude and work rate etc. That's still one of the most important things for the club and Brendan I think.
  18. No love for Jonny last night? Was in contention for MOTM for me. Can't remember him making a single error, got himself a great goal, marshalled us from the back, sprayed balls all over the park, mopped up every opportunity. Thought he was fantastic.
  19. Confident as **** today, Leicester City with confident, comfortable ball playing centre backs, who'd have thought?
  20. Yes! This is genuinely worth the entertainment value and in addition its a middle finger to some hedge funds. Just hold, the next couple of weeks are gonna be fun
  21. It's all gone to shit lads! Keep holding!
  22. It seems like you're talking bollocks for the sake of it anyway, I thought as much... None of the search results suggest it's pronounced in that way.
