0 ‘evidence’ for this claim btw.
-
Its not over the top and your failure to see that is a huge reason of why we are where we are as a club.
-
Again, the performative gotcha nonsense isnt going to wash. If these players were on low wages we wouldnt be posting the massive losses we post season after season despite selling and more clubs would be lining up to take them off our books. The fact that none of them are overly pushing for a moves away and are happy to run their contracts down. The ‘evidence’ for my claim is far stronger than yours. Just because i dont have access to hard figures doesnt make it a false accusation that these players are on obscene wages. You’re just being pedantic for the sake of it. We deserve to be where we are with fans like you.
-
The information i have is that we posted a massive loss. We didnt spend any money on transfers so logically speaking a high wage bill is the reason. Its well documented by journalists and former players that we spend silly money on wages. Stop playing around with this performative ‘gotcha’ nonsense. It wont wash anymore.
-
‘Looking to be outraged.’ Mate we make 90 million pound losses year after year and we are in League One and things arent improving. That is not looking for a reason.
-
There is no definitive confirmation of these so called clauses either I actually remember journalists saying a few seasons ago that we were so unprepared for relegation that most of the players didnt have these clauses. I imagine they are in place now but i wouldnt imagine they are reducing the wage bill in the way that you think they are considering that last season we still had some stupidly high earners on the books.
-
Years and years of high multimillion pound losses.
-
If you believe this then we are we making such huge losses season after season despite selling and why are we always falling afoul or always close to falling afoul of the financial rules?? Also why is it so hard to shift these players? And despite our position why are none of them openly or brazenly agitating for a move away? I’m not the one with my head in the sand here.
-
Hysterical? You’re joking right?. Skipp, Souttar, Choudary, Faes, Thomas, Mavididi are all on or around about that figure and 3 of them started yesterday. I imagine Okoli isnt far off either and some of them will be in the high 20s lower 30s.

‘Realistic alternative’ has been the default response from people for seasons and look where thats landed us. Its not as good a defence as you think it is. The realistic alternative is anyone that has experience getting out of this division by playing pragmatic football making the most of the resources you have. Not a manager blindly wedded to an unsuitable style of play constantly bemoaning not having the right players. Seen this story before many times we know how it ends.
-
We always hope that we are proved wrong and we would love nothing more than to be proved wrong because it would mean we are winning games and getting out of this horrible mess. However we are yet to be proved wrong and i doubt we will be proved wrong on this occasion either. The signs arent good.
-
They deserved it because some of them are being paid over 50k a week to perform like that and concede sloppy goals against a league one team. Doesnt matter if we are 1 game in or 40. It is not acceptable. We should sack the manager and someone should finally stand up to the nepo baby and tell him we cant afford to play his shit useless style of football any longer. Its dooming the club.
-
Yes people said the same thing last season and look where we are now. Its not pathetic, the only pathetic thing is mentalities like yours. Its about time standards were restored and the team were held to them. We are in League one on the brink of financial oblivion, why does this not compute with some people?
-
Our defence concedes too many chances and we do not create enough chances to win games playing this style of play and neither RM or KP will change things. We will be relegated again.
-
We couldnt even create chances against the newly promoted team. I cant see where 30 wins are going to come from right now as things stand.
-
We are already King Power FC so it wouldnt make too much of a difference.

The King Power Way TM -
No, they deserve it. The players and the manager do not deserve a free ride and or patience when they are barely creating chances against this level of opposition. The entire future of the club is on the line, they need to be putting in maximum effort week in week out because the wages they draw are killing us. I did not see maximum effort or quality from the senior professionals yesterday and they deserve all the heat they get. People want to be seen as being patient or taking a measured approach to things but tor the money we are paying out and the position we was in just a few years ago we should be blowing teams aways 3/4-0 most weeks. Not scraping by barely troubling teams that were in League 2 when we were in the Premier League 2 short seasons ago.
-
Not having it. Patience is gone. Patience landed us in this mess. The same mistakes are happening now that happened under Rodgers. We barely created chances against a team that was in League 2 last season and we barely created chances against a team that is in league 2 last week. We yet again have a manager that is going to slavishly adhere to the ‘King Power Way’ no matter where it takes us and its going to take us to League 2. Enough is enough.
-
Nope. We are where we are because we’ve tolerated this nonsense for so long. He had 2 games against essentially league 2 opposition and scraped through. The signs are very bad. We are in league one on the brink of financial oblivion, the time to be patient is over.
-
Ever since Pearson banned Stringer BBC RL have taken a no offence policy because they dont want to lose their crumbs of access. Its another huge reason we are where we are because the fans allowed the club to silence critics without saying much of a word and it set the rot. In hindsight we really should have protested that decision.

How does Rudkin still have the taters to reject bids for these two clowns??? The mans ego and desire to ‘drive a hard bargain’ have brought this club to the edge of ruin.

Even after 2 games its extremely obvious (for anyone who isnt drinking the kp kool aid or doing the whole performative giving the manager a chance) that it is absolutely not going to work. Sack him tomorrow and try and get someone in who knows how to win a game of football rather than ‘playing the right way’. -
