  1. Can see Brentford coming in for Nacho with the Toney situation. He would do well there and is guaranteed to start the first half the season. I can also see him and Toney up front together. I don’t want this to happen but it’s just what I expect. Daka will stay though. He’s not impressed anyone.
  2. Simple that - of the 24 clubs we finished highest. They’re not exactly intuitive these betting companies.
  3. TikTok has very quickly started showing me videos of Championship fans predicting the final league table for next season. It’s also started showing me potential transfers to look out for. Got me realising that I have ABSOLUTELY no idea about the Championship in 2023. Honestly, we could be entering the Bundasliga for all I know. I can’t tell you what players to look out for or what clubs will do well. I haven’t a scooby. Am I alone in this? Or are a lot of us having to do actual research to see what we’re entering?
  4. Hamza should stay. He was decent on loan at Watford before the injury. His tough tackling will be useful in the Championship and he actually cares about the club. Him and KDH could build a useful partnership. edit - not sure why this quoted you RoboFox 🤣
  5. Whilst I agree that as football fans you have to be able to take banter and not react with violence, I do genuinely feel that the Westham went overboard to provoke a reaction. They’ve been interested in fights for years. Let’s not pretend that they weren’t trying to set something off. It was more than just “you’re going down” for a few minutes. If you listen to RL post game, their fans are still chanting long after the FT whistle. I’m not condoning violence. I never would. But you have to expect it on a day when fans are emotional. For some, it’s fight or flight at times like this.
  6. Just wondering if there were any fights today? I’ve heard that police cars/vans were driving about after the game with their sirens on. The Westham fans were being absolute ***** all game. They seemed genuinely pleased that we went down. Don’t get where that level of hatred has come from but it seemed like more than just “banter”. It wouldn’t surprise me if fights did happen with this in mind and I’m just wondering if anyone witnessed anything post game.
  7. Close this stupid thread for **** sake. Some of you lot are actually retarded. The club has made some mistakes. Things haven’t gone to plan. But the margin for error in this league is tiny. We got it wrong in two summer windows. We’ve been relegated. That’s it. Top is a good guy and loves the club. Why would anyone want him to go and sell the club to someone who couldn’t give two ****s about us?! Get a grip. You’re embarrassing.
  8. Close thread. And never open again 😢
  9. Just posted this on my Fb account for all the hundreds of friends who don’t give a shit. Thought I’d share it here for the hundreds here who do! D-Day. Today relegation from the Premier League will almost certainly be confirmed for my beloved Leicester City. For the last 10 years I’ve seen this club playing PL football. The very extreme highs and the basement lows. In 2014 we arrived as a brilliantly run football club with aspirations of becoming an established top 20 side. 9 months later we had to win 7 of our last 9 games just to stay in the league. We did it. One year later we were Premier League champions at odds of 5000/1. A sporting story that will never be surpassed. During those ten years of incredible PL football we have finished in the top 10 on 5 occasions securing European football 3 times. We’ve been to Wembley on 4 occasions and played in 3 Semi-Finals including once in Europe. We’ve won the FA Cup and a Charity Shield. We knocked Sevilla out of the Champions League and played in the last 8 of Europes Premier competition - in fact on that occasion, we were the last English team standing. We’ve had lots of famous victories including coming from 1-3 down to beat Man United 5-3 in our 5th game back in the big time in September 2014. We have hammed Peps Man City on several occasions including 4-1 at home and 5-2 at the Empthihad. On both occasions Vardy scored a hat-trick - only Leo Messi has also scored more than one hat-trick against a Pep side. On the subject of Vardy, we found and signed the player who holds the record for the most PL goals in consecutive PL games. “It’s 11 it’s heaven for Jamie Vardy”. The GOAT hitting 13 goals in 11 consecutive games to beat Ruud Van Nisterooy’s record. It is fair to say that today will be a day of ups and downs for Leicester fans everywhere. In a list of achievements littered with the unlikely and unexpected, staying up on the last day would be as unlikely and as unexpected as any of them. But there is always hope and so today I support my beloved Leicester as I always have and always will, but I have a very soft spot for a seaside club that plays in red and black. If we go down I can safely say that we came, we saw and we conquered. Leicester ‘till I die 💙🦊
  10. IF and it is a huge IF we beat WHU tomorrow and stay up do you think there will be a pitch invasion? Maybe not if B’mouth went 2/3-0 up early and we did the same. But if it was late and dramatic. Do we think a pitch invasion would occur? I’m in two minds. On the one hand, we should celebrate survival. Of course we should. On the other hand, a pitch invasion for a club surviving the drop should always be reserved for those heavily tipped to go down. Not former PL and FA cup winners with a recent track record of top 6 finishes. We shouldn’t be in this position in the first place.
  11. I have a very vivid memory of the Stoke game despite the fact that I was probably only 13 at the time. I remember just feeling devastated but getting over it very quickly as you do when you’re young. Now, as a neatly 30 year old I’d like to say that age and maturity will help me rationalise things and remember that “it’s just a game”. But I fear that come 4:30pm tomorrow afternoon, my emotions will take over and I will be an absolute mess. I am 99.9% sure that we are down already, but when it’s confirmed I don’t think the expectation of relegation will make the reality of it any easier to cope with.
  12. Brilliant 😂
  13. FT is packed to the rim with some absolute tools. Dean Smith has given us a chance now. The pressure if bang on Everton. They know they now HAVE to win. Yes, we HAVE to win too. But we knew we would have to either way. Everton were hoping for a nice and comfy final day. We’ve denied them that!
  14. Smith is free from blame. He had 8 games to save a team that were effectively already down. He’s not kept us up yet but he has at least brought it to the last day and given us a chance. I don’t want him to stay on next season but I’ve no ill feeling towards him what so ever and I don’t think any LCFC fans should have.
  15. This is going to be horrible. 1 of 2 things will happen. We’ll either be shit as per usual and lose convincingly. Or, we’ll actually play well but with the lack of attacking threat will means that we’re just watching Newcastle attack for 90 minutes. Can we shithouse a 0-1 or a 1-2? No, probably not 😂
  16. The mood of the fan base is always very interesting to me. We all know now that if we get 6 points from 6 we stay up. The equation is simple. Yet not one of us ****ers believes it’s going to happen 😂 Had we been in this exact situation in 2014/15 we’d have believed. And that was with an inferior squad. Thanks Brendan. You’ve killed all positivity.
  17. If Leeds don’t win tomorrow then the equation is simple. 6 points from two games and we’re safe. Surely they has to inspire the players? Everton drawing today has made it at least mathematically possible again. I don’t think for one second we will beat Newcastle. I just want to clarify that. But it’s got to inspire a bit of fight within the group, surely?
  18. This! What an atmosphere. I’ll never forget rows and rows of fans just pissing wherever they pleased because ‘The Posh’ had only laid on enough toilets for about 3 fans 😂
  19. You’re not missing out with loftus road. Been there 3 times. Absolute dump.
  20. I’ve changed my mind about Luton. Their fans are petrifying. I don’t want to go there
  21. Bit of fun now that we know we’re down (We know. Let’s be honest) What away days are we looking forward to most of all next season? Peterborough? If they go up. Luton? If they don’t. Coventry? As above?
  22. Scott Parker. Got Fulham and B’mouth promoted. Has never done it at PL level but I think he could. But if he doesn’t then so be it. We just need to get back up for now.
