I can’t believe I’m actually saying this but if we lose on Monday, Enzo has to go. I’ve loved the football at times this season. But he has absolutely zero idea of how to play when we’re not winning. If we go 1-0 down it’s generally over. The lack of invention off the bench and the lack of interest in using the bench are also huge issues for me. If we lose on Monday we’ll likely be 3rd with a game in hand over the top two. I’m fairly sure someone decent will fancy their chances at a 7 game shootout to get us up. Not going up automatically with this squad is an absolute shambles. Come at me if you want. But you’re the same people that wanted BR in charge and look how that went.

“Teams have figured us out” is such a stock phrase. But I actually think it’s true. Teams just sat so deep against us for the first half of the season and we just ground them down. Now they’ve realised we’re easy to get at and will attack. Coupled with the fact that we’ve suddenly forgotten how to finish.

I called this last week. Leeds were utter tripe against us. We were just wasteful. They looked out of ideas. They’re the kind of team who can win a top of the table clash and then throw it away against a beatable side. Also just shows how crap Chelsea are…

Leeds smashed Ipswich 4-0 then lost to Preston the following week. For 70 minutes today we were by far the better team. From HT until they equalised we were utterly dominant and should have made it at least 0-3. Who’s to say Leeds won’t go and lose next week? Even if they don’t and we beat QPR, 6 points with 11 to play puts us in a decent position. We need to grow a big old pair of balls and stop throwing games away like we have done against Ipswich home and away and again tonight. But I’m sure we’ll still the win the league.

I do still think we’ll win the league but **** me do we need to man up. If this doesn’t galvanise the squad then we’re in big big trouble. Yes we deserved to win today and we should have been 3-0 up but we also deserved what happened in the last 10 minutes. If that makes any sense at all.

Pathetic finishing from Daka. Not great from Stephy either albeit a more difficult chance than Daka’s. Why they championship insist on giving top of the league games to PL refs I will never know. Is it a generational thing? I definitely find that the older generation of fan moans when we don’t pump it long to a 6ft 3” striker. The younger generation seem to accept that football has changed and Enzo’s way is the modern style. Maybe it’s an unfair observation but it’s just how I see it. Long and short of it is this - We’re comfortably the best team in the league. We’ve scored the most in the league and we’ve conceded the least. Honestly, what more can you ask for? If you moan when it’s like this please stay away from the games. Enzo will go if an offer comes in.

Fatawu also works so hard so we don’t lose that by swapping them.
