OK bring back Ward please!
-
I think the headline pretty much sums up what a sh*t show our club is at the minute: " Leicester City 'eyeing' 30-year-old defender that current club 'want to get rid of at all costs' "
-
I wont bring up my Vitor Periera post again but the score speaks for itself. RVN absolute joke of an appt.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
phildw replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
If Vitor Pereira was so easily available why weren't we all over him when we sacked Cooper! 20 years of managerial experience and we decided to go for an inexperienced RVN because he's had links with mighty "united' -
Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
phildw replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Because he's the manager and should be instilling a belief and work ethic into the team (something he claimed to have already done as one of his first tasks at the club).... that's what a managers for. -
Newcastle 4 Leicester 0 Post Match Thread

If that's the best RVN can offer tactically then we are in big trouble. We've just signed a big name from the 'mighty reds' haven't we. -
If its not down to Ruud I'm not sure what he's been doing in training all week then?
-
Well that's the RVN honeymoon well and truly over. Not seen anymore fighting spirit or intelligence in the the team than a Cooper side to be honest.

Yes the same Saints who went to Brighton 10 days ago and held them to a draw. -

It literally happened under Cooper and we actually won the game 3-2 away at Saints! But I get what I think your point is... -
Joke of a line up. Talk about putting himself under pressure on game 1. This will be a heavy defeat.
-
Hermandsen fault that. Brain fart rushing out and clearing up our own players to allow them a tap 8n.

Ruud awakening for the Premier League!
phildw replied to DJ Barry Hammond's topic in Leicester City Forum
Totally agree. We have have gone for a 'name' that has links to 'united' thinking it will be a statement to the fans and the league. RVN has got very little coaching experience, including none in the Prem other than 2 of the easiest games in the league and Cup you could get against comfortably the worst team in the league ar the minute - us - and his man management skills have proven to be lacking with his history at his short stay at PSV. If you can't command respect from your players then you are in an uphill struggle from the off. I hope this is not another knee jerk appointment 😑 personally I would have rather taken the same chance on an upcoming manager who may not have prem experience but has shown the abilities to become a successful one. I would have paid the compo for Corberan - but it's not my money! -
Oh look Hermandson beaten from outside the area again. Don't get the hype but hopefully still cash in on him in January
-
There we go. The mighty Hermandsen beaten easily again. The man's a myth with the odd wonder save.

Leicester City vs Nottingham Forest Tactical Analysis
phildw replied to StriderHiryu's topic in Leicester City Forum
Who the hell is Dominguez?? -
Don't get the Hermandsen man of the match. Was that based on 1 worldy save? He was at fault for all 3 for me. The first was a weakly struck shot from a long way out that saw Mads look like he was stuck in treacle and not moving across the goal. A top keeper saves that no problem. Second goal was exactly the same a hopeful shot on the turn and Mads again not on his toes and lively enough to get across his goal. Third was all three but Mads again puts himself in no man's land and makes it easy for an in form Woods. He's a good keeper but certainly not his greatest night tonight.

Notts Forest (H) 25th Oct - 8pm. Match Thread
phildw replied to tcrofts's topic in Leicester City Forum
I'm sorry but it was Winks brain fart moment that put us in this mess with a minute gone in the second half. Poor. -
No mystery - did you not see his gutless performance against Walsall.
-
I think you need to look at Ricardo's braindead performance tonight which continues into the second half
-
What it's Coopers fault that Ricardo really can't be bothered when he gets his chance?
-
No wonder Ricardo has been nowhere near the first team this season. We're seeing tonight what Cooper is obviously seeing every week on the training ground.
-
Negative sit back and hope for the best tactics cost us 2 points. Get rid of this clown of a fraud manager and get someone anyone with some sort of tacticsl knowledge

Palace vs Leicester - Pre match thread (14th September 3pm)

Really can't believe we are STILL having to rely on an ageing crocked Vardy at this stage after a full transfer window! Absolutely ridiculous 🙄 -
Too small to be a top class keeper. 90% of top class keepers get a hand to that Duran header. Decent enough header but still a looping header that shouldn't have beaten a Premier league keeper.
