  1. Deffo see where you coming from, posting on foxes talk is a hard slog, there is absolute obsession with both Cooper and Ricardo right now. No balance or rationale in the discussions at all.
  2. Everyone wants their favourite players picked, but its not just that, we know its people have a personal dislike, and we know with human nature, once thats decided, you cant change that. These people will be going on with desperation until the day Cooper leaves the club.
  3. Its the same problem foxes talk has had for years, constantly blaming the defender involved directly before an opponent scores. Luckily managers tend to be more sensible.
  4. Ok so we have got it out of you, that you unfairly judge players that are the last one's involved before a goal.
  5. So Justin is the only player involved in defending, no midfielders or other defenders the opponent got through first? I got news for you, there is no player that blocks everything, even the magical Kante and it also a team sport. Of course we ignore all the blocked attacks by Justin for convenience, and his positive forward play.
  6. Blaming individuals in a team sport?
  7. You got a link? I searched and is nothing other than a 22019 interview with them, wish people linked. I dont want to judge Winks until I see/read it myself.
  8. You realise there is more to the game then that right? I dont judge players on a a single or a couple of moments in a 90 minute game. It is also a team sport. There is other players involved in how the ball got to that position in the first place.
  9. He has had a good season so far, I will call it I think many on here are a bad judge of players and performances, there is an obsession with blaming players for goals conceded and then overlooking every other aspect of their game, then the old human bias confirmation kicks in where everything good is ignored and everything bad is blown up to confirm the original opinion, which is why we see so many posts so often claiming players need to go but they still get picked.
  10. JJ has been fine, solid season so far.
  11. Some, but we have some still going all in claiming the players are bailing him out now.
  12. Where is this interview? given the game wasnt aired on UK media.
  13. Always ifs and buts in the game, we also hit the woodwork 3 times.
  14. He did, but if you dont take a shot you cant score, hope it encourages others to shoot more.
  15. One thing I have learnt about FT is not to listen to what people say about players been dropped and team selection, there tends to be a obsession with any mistake made and not really thinking about the overall performances for the full game, Justin has been fine. Countless games where player does alright, but makes a mistake for a goal or something and suddenly everyone on FT is an expert wanting that player dropped.
  16. I can imagine at half time, parties were planned, now at FT they looking for anti depressants.
  17. Scored every game still so far, as well. 13th, 6 points buffer to relegation, no complaints currently.
  18. Great result, a slow start, the starts we need to work on, but we came into the game, and were rewarded for the attacking intensity at the end. Subs proved to be very good decisions as well.
  19. Only fair we keep this thread, given a cooper out thread is allowed when he had barely had a couple of games. Whats up boss. The attack after attack without faffing about at the back with 20 million passes, thank you.
  20. He could win the next 3, and the posters would be all talking about how they cant stand the current situation, he is a failure at the job (without any substance explaining their reason), and because they cant figure out how the team is tactically they believe there must be no strategy, they upset that we no longer predictable, and finally of course if he loses the next game he should go. It seems we need an identity (predictable stubborn way of play), its as if the rules of the game have changed or something.
  21. Turned what around? you talk as if in some form of catastrophe, right now we on track to achieve our goal of staying up.
  22. What a great rule eh. Spend X amount, finish 8th and you financially responsible, spend the same amount and finish 18th, you running the club at too high a risk we need to punish you even though the owner has committed to covering all losses.
  23. I think its neither, I dont put a lot of faith into these predictions and instead in actual results, but its one of those things some were clinging onto with their desperation for a brand of football to come back.
  24. Do we have a recall option to force her back?
  25. People wont like this I guess. https://theanalyst.com/eu/2024/10/premier-league-predictions-2024-25-opta-supercomputer-october
