  1. Should I predict the best because of my emotions then, I support the club I will become irrational and we win every game from now to the end of the season, sounds good?
  2. Every so often Russell gives in and then they start winning games, their bad runs is when he goes back to ideology.
  3. That is then now is now.
  4. My thoughts also, its making the EPL and EFL look like bitter children.
  5. You not considered many people dont like the football played? Also not considered the momentum, we started on fire and its been a slow regression for half a season now, we not getting better, but getting worse. Its not as simple as looking at the table and saying we second. Especially when he has the most expensive squad in the division.
  6. The Leicester way, we lose, and a scapegoat is found. Something I have tried to argue against on here a few times now.
  7. It does add fuel to the fire when people talk about corruption in the game, these dates like the Doncaster issue was whilst the game was under the FA's watch.
  8. The better teams didnt just sit back, until of course they were winning the game and only had to hold on to the lead. Bear in mind a press doesnt need to be a constant press, it can just be when its at its most effective, e.g. the goal that Mads conceded a couple of games ago, he was pressed and the play was fluffed by ourselves. The way to beat Enzo is to press whilst we tip tapping, an error will then grant them the ball and can score from it, another way is end of games when the team tires out and mentally implodes. It seems its also now quite easy to prevent us scoring as the attacking is laboured and predictable.
  9. I think his head has gone.
  10. When teams press us we have struggled as well. Just a different struggle, when they sit back we struggle to score but might be assure of a draw at least. When they come at us, we have **** the bed and lost games. I have never understood these comments he would somehow not have problems in the EPL, teams would press us as a unit, we would end up passing to them whilst trying to tip tap it around the defenders and keeper, and probably concede 20-30 goals over the season this way. Remember all those early one goal victories which seem to have been conveniently forgotten? How would those have gone if the chances the opposition had fell to a EPL quality player. In many of those games we gave away glaring chances to the opposition which were fluffed. The way we have been setup, we would be destroyed in the EPL, and of course as Burnley have found out its not working out for them, and thats for a manager who did actually manage to dominate this division. Where I do agree with you, is the squad is a misfit for the manager, and considering we dont have the means to rebuild the squad it makes it a bad appointment.
  11. Also found this on wikipedia, seems the womens game has a history of weird stuff going on.
  12. So we just sell the training ground to king power assuming they dont already own it instead of the club. Its odd, as the EFL treated stadium sales as against the rules, so its either the EPL choosing a different path or looking for ways to not punish the bigger clubs.
  13. No, and the article I read suggests the EFL cant even punish us at all for EPL PSR breaches meaning they cant defer it to next season either (EFL).
  14. It also prevents clubs from effectively fixing things. So e.g. you might offload an expensive player and replace with a cheaper one, but an embargo instead would force you to keep the expensive one, as you got no replacement. This has been my main issue with FFP regulations as a whole, they feel like they designed to put clubs in their place who dared, rather than been rationally thought out with sensible policies aimed at stabilising the game.
  15. Ask the question, this response was assured from someone lol.
  16. Has there been a reason given for why the ties were done so unprofessionally with a home team advantage?
  17. Not voted, only on the basis its the crunch part of the season, but the guy think his football ideology is bigger than the club he is working for.
  18. Those prediction computers seem to not take account of recent form just seasonal form. Which is why at times their predictions can seem a bit whacked, e.g. we still clear favourites for autos which seems mental considering our current implosion.
  19. My issue is I dont have the faith we get 4 wins and 1 draw. Luckily the break seems to have broken Leeds rhythm a little bit which has increased my hope a little.
  20. The Women's game feels so light on league games its like league game, international, league game, cup game. Should it be changed to play each team 4 times instead of twice? Can make some space by removing the international fixtures, and lots of large gaps in the calendar to be filled.
  21. Pep had his own issues they went through a period where Man City were conceding lots of goals, we played them during that spell and got 4 or 5 against them. But Pep of course has a club owner who can by him a new set of defenders that can handle Pep ball which is what happened, 6 figure spend later they were dominating. Enzo was recruited to fit Top's football ideology, but then we dont have a squad suited for Enzo ball and dont have the ability to build such a squad so it was a misfit appointment. It kind of worked ok early season as could tell teams were fearful of us, they sat back (apparently we dont like this which is funny), and it gave us the space to do lots of tippy tappy without being harassed. Since the opposition often wasnt even trying to score we got wins out of it, but that fear factor is gone now. We not going to be playing against any more Stoke's this season.
  22. Cant say we were unlucky, Millwall had more shots on target. Are we still getting players blamed for it?
  23. Didnt watch game, but see much more possession but less shots on target, so wasteful use of the ball I take from that.
  24. I swear I didnt watch the millwall game, shame it didnt last.
  25. Its always the player's fault it seems.
