  1. Tuning out. Scrap that.
  2. Ndidi coming on, cant see if Faes is staying on.
  3. Yep teams dont fear us now.
  4. Ahh yeah I forgot the penalty incident thanks. That explains the comments actually as FT doesnt forgive key incidents. The rest of what you said probably applies to half the team out there today.
  5. Too vague for me sorry, specifics would be nice, was a genuine question trying to understand, can understand Faes, but not Mavididi.
  6. What has Mavididi done wrong?
  7. Wow yeah, he seems to just be getting picked on every game now by people on here, Fatawu on the other side is playing pretty well with some decent crosses, but it doesnt mean Mavididi has been dreadful, like you said he keeps getting fouled and isnt seeing much of the ball anyway.
  8. Hull no fear of us at all, full of intensity. We just seem so clumsy, especially at the back. Winks who I am used to seeing it ping about for us seems anonymous as well. Would take the current score at this point if offered.
  9. Wow, thought we were going down early on, great save. Hull showing though how effective dribbling forward is.
  10. They can invest what they want, the restriction is the spending on first team activities (and what is claimed to be revenue).
  11. Its also easy to lie when information is fed anonymously via the press. I dont consider it fact unless there is a credible name to the claim.
  12. A lot of our signings I felt contracts were too short, within 2 years there is pressure of boosting the contract to get the player to sign the extension as a 4 year contract is effectively a 2 year contract (unless you do what we do and wind the contracts down to nothing). Anyone like KDH promoted up to squad should be on a 6-7 year deal for sure, as those players are typically on a nice low salary at that point of their career. Keeping the wages down also makes players easier to shift.
  13. Wow tuned it to see the 1st half highlights, we got lucky with that keeper gifting the shot then they miss.
  14. That doesnt mean they want us to lose, its a genuine question, because there is a huge difference between not having the confidence we can ride through it and wanting the club to fail at its task.
  15. If we entertain the thought that Whelan has one of the weirdest CEO roles on record (where she has no oversight above a department), that puts the chairman/vice chairman right in the firing line, because there would still be someone responsible for giving Rudkin that much of a free reign, even worse if he isnt reporting to anyone, it would perhaps make him the most powerful DoF in the game. No matter which way you look at it, there is someone above Rudkin's name on that directors list who is culpable.
  16. Who has said they want us to lose?
  17. Yeah its all about 2 games, not the many others we have looked unconvincing. But seriously, you forgotten momentum is a big thing in football, 11 wins in 12.
  18. To prevent even more of a club implosion, even if went up invested nothing and had an awful season, we have got a load more money in our pocket over the next couple of seasons.
  19. Looking at that, Leeds probably the least vulnerable of the three. We had the highest turnover but a large amount of it proportionally was broadcasting. Leeds the highest "natural" turnover. Southampton the lowest. We had an extra 60 million in wages, ridiculous wage bill for a club of our stature. Our wage bill was 3x our non broadcasting revenue, and 30m over our broadcasting revenue, Leeds wage bill was less than double their non broadcast revenue and slightly higher than their broadcast revenue, Southampton wage bill a bit more than triple their non broadcast revenue and slightly lower than their broadcast revenue. We also had the highest amortisation costs, southampton the least. Unsurprisingly the wages to turnover ratio reflects my thoughts on the financial vulnerability.
  20. Not illegal, but it probably upsets the harmony of the setup, as the player would have more influence even if the manager tried to not make it that way.
  21. I think if the players had the mentality that they need to work harder to win games, killer instinct 2nd 3rd goal etc, we would still have the bigger points gap, you disagree with that?
  22. Note the words you used 'were' and 'werent' past tense.
  23. I feel kicking off first is a competitive advantage, TV games really should be same kickoff time.
  24. I am also of the opinion the club needs selling. I think of all the possibilities in terms of how these decisions may have been made, and all the roads ultimately lead back to the ownership of the club. Top isnt firing himself or his brother, so a sale is the only way.
