Thought he would have got a Prem move and that's why he kicked up such a fuss. If he had waited and got promoted with us, he is a Premier League player again OR he gets a Prem move in January if performs well.

It is nice to have a thoroughly likeable Manager Just hope he is backed this window and then no excuses

Good. He will be one of the best players in the Championship if he doesn't throw his toys out once the window closes. My only fear is, a team comes in last minute with £35million and we then have that money to spend but not enough time to get anyone in.

If we need to shift Bilal out so that we can finance players coming in, I would prefer we got on with it now, as we don't have enough time. We are in desperate need of a Striker, CM and a LB, and really 1-2 more. Bilal is forcing for a move and as long as it is in the £30m+ range, we should get on with it and hope that allows dominoes to start falling. Either that, or we are reasonably confident of pricing out other clubs and think he will come back into the team without too much fuss. It's a risk though.

That was the biggest difference to me, we looked far more organised in defence. I could see that the players knew their jobs better, and of course the work rate was much higher. If we could add some attacking players, then I think we could give promotion a real go.

If he can work that hard every game and do the basics without errors, then he will be of use to us this season. I would still like us to sign a CM though or Winks to come out of his strop, as Skipp still offers very little.

He really is terrible, but should get a sticker for effort. Sign a striker FFS.

I see Demari Gray hasn't changed at all Dude is still waiting to fulfil his "potential" I did wonder how he would celebrate if he scored, but then thought, nahh that will never happen

It's a difficult thing to admit, but he often shines at this level, as does Faes. Okoli was better tonight too. Would still like a LB but otherwise our defensive options look OK.

Such a shame, as he is exactly the player we need in that no.10 role. Burned bridges though, so he will be gone by Monday as we will likely blink first.

Does he even have a pulse? Dude is the chillest player I have ever seen. Looks like he just paused COD on PS5, rolled out of bed and strolls on for an assist with a "meh"

Biggest difference tonight, was the work rate and intensity from most the players. Not seen that until tonight. It felt like they were working for each other and the Manager. Still lacking quality, but hopefully a few signings will help with that. Despite our mistrust and dislike of a number of these players, if Marti can get them working their socks off every game, then the little quality we do have, will likely be enough to beat most teams at this level. Positive signs of that increased intensity tonight. We just need 3-4 players in now.

He would actually be an ok DCM as every time her comes on, he gets us on the front foot from the back and usually gets the ball moving forward quicker. Okoli was better tonight and Vestergaard looking comfortable at this level again, so if we get a good fee, then obviously he should still go. At this level though, he still has a lot to offer, similar to Vestergaard, despite both being inadequate in the Premier league.

Easy to see why Rodgers had such a big ego here. Got Chris Davies helping him live in cloud cuckoo land.

Loved seeing Okoli celebrate our 2nd goal so hard. We need that positive energy and desire. It is going to be a long season.

Top would be so dumb to not invest now in a handful of players for Marti. Still early days, but he is getting wins with one hand tied behind his back. Give him a Striker, CM and couple of others, and we could give Promotion a real go this season.

Looked more confident and worked much harder. Used his physicality well. Was helped by an equally hard working Skipp. I still want us to use Winks and/or sign a new CM

He and Soumare seemed to work so much harder tonight. They are limited players, but if they work their socks off, then at least that benefits the team. Still prefer to see Winks though.

PLEASE give this guy some players. I am quickly remembering how crappy the Championship is, and so it wouldn't take much. I wanted 5-6 players but realise that 3-4 would be more realistic and doable. Ok... 2 minimum. PLEASE!
