I don't think our squad is much better than anyone else's actually, if we take off our blue tinted glasses that is. I suspect Cooper will be given 10 more games, and if we are being cut adrift from 17th, then he will go. We are a much better prospect for a Manager without the -6 points, but I expect it will be Moyes... Let's give Cooper a chance in the next handful of games though. He may surprise us.

The Premier League deserve this. PSR has been a joke, and was put in place to stop what we achieved in 15/16 ever happening again. Ironic that it is us again, who have taken it to the big boys and won. I don't think this will be appealed, as it looks pretty clear cut to me. PL will grumble but move on. I suspect many other fans will also enjoy the Premier League's humiliation. A minority will whinge of course. Let this be a huge wake-up call for Top though. Time to get back to running this club properly and within the future rules. Huge boost for us staying up as well. I think we can do it now, although it will be a battle until the last few games. I think we have cobbled together a decent enough team now, but it does feel like a bottom 5 squad and it is depressing to think how far we have fallen. Ah well. Such is life.

I would seriously consider dropping Ndidi for this. Seems like the player we had in our relegation season so far and not the rejuvenated one from last season. Skipp to come in for him.

Contract runs out next summer, so if he wants a big deal somewhere, then he better produce the goods with us. At 26, this could be his last chance to make a splash in the Premier League. Don't think he will ever be prolific, but he could get 15 goals for us if he rediscovers his Celtic form.

I might be wrong, but kinda sounds like Ipswich thought they had him, but Fulham swooped in at the final hour and hijacked the deal. Could have easily happened to us too.

Yup. I'd take him. Impressed me at Celtic. Been turd at Palace, but knows the Premier League well and will come straight into the squad. Different type of striker to Vardy and Daka. I would still keep Cannon though, and throw him cup games and some 10-15mins from the bench.

I think Cannon will only go if we get someone in, so we are just replacing Nacho for Ayew. However, we are in the Premier League now and that is a very weak set of options. Ridiculous that a striker wasn't our priority position this window.

This is actual insanity if the window closes and we haven't signed a striker. At his age, Vardy should be our 3rd choice/super sub this season. To rely on him as our No.1 striker at this stage in his career is crazy. I am clinging onto the hope a) we pull off a last minute loan deal for someone half decent OR b) Tom Cannon is so pissed off how little faith the club have in him, he will turn into our star striker over night out of pure anger...
