The biggest positive from all this is that whenever I look at our new manager, I feel like Brad Pitt.

He is actually a very likable bloke. I thought that even when he was at Forest, which is saying something! It's all a bit meh, but we just need to somehow stay up this season, and he did that with Forest despite a control freak owner! Hopefully, he impressed in the interview and has backroom staff ready to join as well. He could do worse than getting Kingy on board!

Seems strange that people are using Potter's Premier League finishes of 15th, 16th and 9th, as some sort of disqualifying offence. I'd take any of those finishes over the next 2 seasons, especially as we need to rebuild ourselves as a Premier League team again.

Surely Potter would have ruled himself out by now if wasn't interested. Suspect his demands are on the higher end, so maybe why the club are still assessing other options. I think he would be a decent appointment in our situation, but can't see a number of fans given him much time or patience.

I'd take 15th or 16th right now thanks. Brighton hadn't been in the Premier League long by that point, and so were hardly meant to be pushing for top 8 finishes. They are a different team with bigger ambitions now, but that is partly due to Potter keeping them comfortably in the Premier League whilst he was there.

Good! Hope the Premier League have to rethink this whole thing, as it feels like they are shitting on their own doorstep with these rules. Most important thing for them, is to keep the Premier League the best in the world, whilst also not allowing clubs to bankrupt themselves with dodgy owners. Drop all charges against us!

As I said before, if it is Cooper, then I think that is because our preferred choices aren't interested or too expensive. I'll get behind him if he comes in, but it is all a bit meh.

I like KDH, but I don't think he is good enough for Chelsea and their aspirations. It would be a Danny Drinkwater type move for KDH as well IMO. Chelsea would probably give him a silly 7 year deal and he would barely get a sniff.
