This will save our window and make the difference in staying up.

I'd take him right now

I think this is a classic case of someone who thinks he is better than he is. You see that in his on field demeanour whenever we concede. Arms up and looking to blame everyone else. I actually think he is lucky he had a season in the Championship, because another season in the Premier League, I think he would have been found out, and quickly drop down the pecking order in most Premier League teams. He has his good moments, and plays with the confidence of a better player, but lacks in too many areas to be a top CB at this level IMO. However, this would not be good timing for us to lose our starting CB, despite this new development (if true) On the flip side, do we really want someone who will whinge and blame others when we are likely to be losing a lot of games this season. Maybe, Coady would be the better leader and positive influence we need in a relegation scrap, despite his own limitations. We must sign another CB if Faes does go though. So, I hope a decision is made quickly either way.

It has been 2 games. If 2 players can't cope with being on the bench for 2 games, then boo hoo. Cooper has implied that Justin has worked harder and looked better than Ricardo in training, but I expect Ricardo will get his chance in the next game or so, and hopefully he proves a point and shows the manager he should be starting. Same with Mavididi. Why would Cooper play a system that he has never played before? Many were concerned that it wouldn't work with Leicester in the Premier League, as we sometimes struggled to break poor teams down in the Championship. So much so, people were calling for Enzo to be sacked during our poor run. The step-up to the Premier League is huge, and our squad has not really been improved either. We were always destined to lose a large number of games. I am all for bashing a Manager once he has had time to put his stamp on the team, but this OTT after 2 games, a 1-1 and a 1-2, is just silly at this stage.

I have never liked his body language after we concede. He so often angrily throws his arms up and looks to blame everyone else. I think it is completely on brand with him to be moaning and wanting out. He thinks he is better than he is. One of those players that I am meh about, whether he stays or goes. Can still do a job for us here, but as long as we bring in a decent enough replacement, I wouldn't be fussed if he left this window.
-
12 month loan to a promotion pushing championship club would be ideal. I saw some promising signs from him and think he could mature into a decent striker. I actually still would have had him as our 3rd or 4th option, ahead of Daka, but he is obviously not impressing in training. We need a starting no.9 to come in this week and to keep Vardy fit.
-
Who do you want to replace him? I am guessing you have a plan and a name in mind.
-
I think we should hire and fire the next 3 right now. That way, we can avoid all this.

Is he our scapegoat? Locked in? I don't want any swapsies later OK! -
1-1? I would call Spurs a big team in terms of their squad at the moment. We won't play every game like today, we will play worse and lose heavily and play better and beat teams convincingly. That is the great but also frustrating thing about this game we love.
-
My assessment of that is, he sees Justin and Ricardo competing for the RB spot, but Justin has been working harder and more impressive in training. Of course, we know that overall, Ricardo is the better player, so I do expect that Cooper will try Ricardo there sooner rather than later. Then, it is up to Riccy to hold down that place, and also show why so many of us think he should be starting. I don't think this is the biggest issue Cooper is facing. He needs to sign more players and then fine tune the team as best as he can.

Lack of quality. Fulham have better players and a Manager and system they know well. This season is going to be extremely tough, no matter who is the Manager. He has 10 games or so to get us going, or he will be gone.
-
Good. Prefer that they believe that, than if they aren't confident at 1-1 that we can go on and win the game. They need to improve, but that will only come if they believe they can go out and win games, especially at 1-1.
-
Surely, losing 5-0 to Spurs and 4-0 to Fulham, would have been that shit! 1-1 and 2-1, is hardly the worst we have ever seen. Bare in mind that we have a shit squad right now. I am not saying that bar a 40minute period against Spurs, there has been much to be happy about, but this is the usual OTT reaction here.

I think along with Ayew, they should be used as supplements to our starting 11, not be in it. Mavididi offers more. I hope that Cooper will make that change for the next game. -
Exactly. On paper, Fulham have better players and were favourites to win the game. We didn't help, as we played poorly, but this pile on is the usual Foxestalk overreaction. Cooper may not improve us over the next 10-12 games, and then we should look at our options, but only then.
-
I think we should sack every new Manager after 2 games. High turnover will be key to survival.
-
maybe wait for him to get into double figures, before declaring him a success or not.
-
He kept Forest up in the PL. So that doesn't really wash. However, he needs to prove he can give us a fighting chance of staying up over the next 10 games, or he will likely be done here.
-
2 games in, 1 a draw against Spurs? Behave yourself. We were always going to be in a relegation battles with this squad. No Manager could do much in this situation. He should get 15 games and only be judged properly then.
-
More so than Ryan Bertrand?
-
Two games in without a loss, would be a confidence boosting start. We need wins, but it would have deflated everyone if we had been rolled over in our first two games. We may even nick a win here, but could easily go the other way too. I'd take a draw.
-
Got to be said. Vardy looks slower than most CB's these days. Still has great movement, but we really need a top striker to come in this week.
-
Would love to see Cooper be brave and proactive with making some changes early on. It would be a good sign for the future if he goes out and tries to win this game, rather than the "wait and see" we are all tired of.

I LOVE VAR!
