Disagree. the injury was the perfect excuse. He was never going to play him. Completely agree. The first film in this new trilogy was pretty good, the second one suffered from trilogy middle film non conclusion, but was passable, as long as the final film wrapped it all up… so, the final film does nothing with the 2 films that came before it??? It’s bizarre. And completely flawed. Even as a stand alone film it’s nonsensical, but as the final part of a trilogy it barely references the previous films. I won’t comment on the actual details as I don’t want to “spoil” it for anyone. But it was very disappointing and anything over 3/10 is being extremely generous.

If he was getting sacked after the game it would have happened by now. No new manager or caretaker is going to be able to do anything 1 or 2 days before the weekend. We know our owners don’t make rash emotional decisions. He’s going to be in charge at the weekend and barring an embarrassing result will likely be in place for the spurs game too. A logical decision will be to ride out the next 10 days before the international break, I’m sure discussions are taking place behind the scenes as to who they would replace him with, so that should that happen they get someone in place quickly after spurs. I’m not convinced Rodgers continuing is tenable, But a win against villa is desperately needed to give us all a lift. If he is in place this weekend, we must 100% get behind the team including the manager.

He’s in self preservation mode as he knows his days are numbered.
