Wesley Fofana - He is no more - finished - forgotten.
One Arm Babba replied to Sly's topic in Transfer Talk
He could just be the ultimate troll. Winding Chelsea and Leicester fans up alike. -
It’s only depressing if you believe the crap printed. Right now we have sold Kasper. Which was inevitable and the right thing to do from a salary budget point of view. ok, so we’ve signed no one, but we’ve not sold any of our key players yet either. That’s a big positive in my opinion.

Same, I’ve a mate who’s a Newcastle fan, and he thought we’d lost 5 players!!! Loads want to leave, and Maddison wants to join them 😂 it’s been fairly ridiculous to say the least, the whole situation has been exasperated by BR’s rebuild statement. If he hadn’t said that, there wouldn’t be such furore around our transfer activity, or lack there of. With a fitter first team than last season, we are in a stronger position. Kasper leaving was inevitable and from the wage perspective made a lot of sense. Everything else other than Tielemans is pure paper talk, and bigger clubs trying to unsettle our players. I don’t see Maddison or Fofana leaving without a silly fee, and I wouldn’t be shocked to see Tielemans sign a short extension with a release clause. I trust the club, we’re arguably one of the best ran football clubs in Europe. They know what they are doing.

Thank you Kasper. Great LCFC player, great professional, great ambassador for sport in general. I hope he does well at Nice: 👏🏻

I don’t think he was/is a bad player, but he should have left Chelsea 4 years ago. His career has stalled. in the context of the Fofana speculation, it is nonsense. We don’t need a CM as part of any potential deal. I don’t think he will go this window, and if he did, it needs to be straight cash and a big fee.
-
100% agreed. Same as Pogba, he is a great player in a slower league or alongside someone that provides protection so he can play. Whilst you could argue to give him more time, it may be better for the bigger picture that we move on.
-
Lookman is a little bit like the Nathan Dyer loan deal, no doubt he contributed to our title win, but it wasn’t a loss when we didn’t sign him on a full time on basis.
-
Patience. I’m sure we will move 1 or 2 out, and if we retain the core of the first team and can replace the outgoings with better players we are in better shape than last season. Let other clubs do what they want. I’m not really bothered, it’s been proven time and time again that spending a load of money doesn’t guarantee anything in this league. Hopefully we won’t suffer true same injury problems this year, and no European football should keep our squad fresher than others that we want to be competing with in the league.

Sadly missing Liam McNulty's plane spotting reports...
One Arm Babba replied to norwichfox's topic in Transfer Talk
Imagine tops recent visit to the training ground, Liam would have had us signing every player south of Leicester. God bless him. He is missed. All the characters are, Bernie in his hey day would have walked to our away trip to the city ground…. In fact I encourage people to do so in his honor. A nutter maybe, but he was OUR nutter. 👍🏻 -
Who actually comes up with this shit? He’s informed them he wants to leave but wouldn’t mind staying. 😂

GERRIMOUT!!! Going nowhere with this dullard. Pure fluke to get to the semis of the last World Cup and final of the Euros. make the change now to give us a chance at the World Cup

Bernie - A Leicester City Legend, RIP
One Arm Babba replied to Ian Nacho's topic in Leicester City Forum
So sad. Whilst I’m sure like many, I’ve found Bernie’s antics amusing over the years. He was one of us and was a passionate LCFC fan. After Sunday, I’m sure we can agree with Bernie “we hate Nottingham!!!” RIP Bernie -
Sounds to me like he is laying the foundations for his exit. Turning point was when he was linked to Man Utd, at that stage he’d never dreamt of being sacked by us, and that a “Big club” job would come. He’s now at a pivotal moment in his career where if sacked by Leicester, he’s at a lower point than when he was sacked by Liverpool. Celtic rebuilt his reputation, but after us he won’t get better than mid table premier league. And his dreams of being a big club manager are finished. With only one person to blame. If he’d have focused on our project and progressed this year, he’d have had the world at his feet, but sadly looks like he’s living up to his 2 season history book. I actually voted in… just, mainly because I think there has to be the opportunity to bounce back from that shit yesterday, if we win a few games in the league in succession we can still have an ok season. It’s a big if. I don’t think now is the time to change, it’s highly unlikely we will be relegated, and at the end of the season is a better time to evaluate and act.

Liam McNulty - A Foxestalk Legend, RIP.

RIP Young man. Very sad to lose a life so young. -
Good thread. Homemade gourmet burgers is my thing. I love the creativity of it and creating food art/porn! 😝 add a good wine or decent craft beer. It’s great. Here’s a monster I made recently. (A little too much cheese)

Europa Conference League Draw & General Chat

That’s our grandad @VinceNoir Interesting fact, he applied for the city job post Mark McGhee. -
Great deal at the price touted. Fofana injury withstanding we needed to replace big Wes and much like the Fuchs replacement in Bertrand, this strengthens the squad in the position.
-
He’s a baller him. I fancy him to take the premier league by storm this season if he gets his chance
-
No way. Not for sale. I’d be gutted if Albrighton left. He’s the epitome of what we are all about, hard work, character, and tremendously underrated.
-
Arrrr yes, the thread of endless shit puns.
-
100% gerrimin. World class player who strengthens the starting 11 and squad.
-
Be careful, this is exactly what they want. Look at the NFL model. They only play what, 13/14 regular season games and potentially another 3 if you reach the Super Bowl. That’s what these greedy ***** want. And over time so will the players. It will all be money led and the player salaries will be insane. They have the financial backing and it’s very realistic this will happen. Ask a player today and they would say they don’t like it and still want to play for their country, give it 5/10 years and their national team will be a distant memory.
-
He’s a gifted footballer, we need him to sharpen up between now and the final. Our beat 11 will need to be at their best to beat Chelsea, and he is an integral part.

Who are Leicester City's Top Rivals?
One Arm Babba replied to sportprof101's topic in Leicester City Forum
Some negative feedback I’m afraid, your survey is extremely repetitive, I’m sorry but I stopped half way through.
