Where’s this bang average footballer stuff coming from technically he’s superb, can beat a man, works his balls off, half decent in the air, not bad in the tackle and can pick a pass… his weak point is his finishing which for me points to him being a top 8 in the future….all that and he’s Just turned 21 and only had a year in this country! For me hes one of our best players and for a set of fans like ours who’ve been having to get used to signing “Average” footballers for the last few years (look no further than 25m Oliver Skipp) you’d think we’d appreciate a talented young footballer when we bag one 🤷🏼‍♂️

The thing that had me excited for the season was just how good he looked pre season along with Nelson and the emphasis on the young lads breaking through…. As soon as I seen the team line up drop the realisation soon hit that we’d been duped yet again and we were on for another season of overpaid dross getting the nod over the young lads we should be giving every opportunity to establish themselves as mainstays in the team…. It’s game one though so fingers crossed come the end of the window that’s exactly what happens

If we do let winks go and don’t replace him with a like for like we can’t be playing defenders like Okoli as there will be so much placed on our cbs dictating play from deep which Wout/Vestergaard/Nelson are all capable of

He’s such an unlikeable rat but at the same time he’s probably the best cb/defender on our books (really really low bar)

He’d be more of a Bilal replacement than Winks

I’d take 1000 Soumare’s over 1 Skipp…. I mean I’d take 50 Junior Lewis’s over 1 Skipp he is stinking

I’ve never seen a player that had zero pros!!! He’s absolutely dog muck in every single area required to be a pro footballer … how has he blagged it for so long is a tough question to answer…then there’s the how spurs managed to extort 25m out of us! If Rudkin wasn’t at the club it would simply have to go down as money laundering

Spunking the transfer budget on a number 2/3 keeper would be peak Rudkin
