Exactly. If you're sliding to make a tackle, the natural position of the arm is questionable.
-
Good start. 25-3 now.
-
Yes, it was the Austria v West Germany game that made sure all final games, in all competitions it seems, kick off simultaneously.

.....Welcome to Leicester City -
Didn't he scored against West Germany in the '82 WC ? Algeria won 2-1 from memory. A massive upset.

Thanks, that's exactly what I'm saying. As the topic suggests, 'Giving up Alcohol', would be to eventually win every single week 7-0.......no alcohol whatsoever. I'm sure cutting out alcoholic completely for some is very difficult, so 'beating the week', is at least moving in the right direction.

Has anyone read the Adrian Chiles book, 'The Good Drinker. How l Learned To Love Drink Less' ? I know someone that has read it (not that he has a drink problem). Apparently, Chiles talks about 'Beating the week', in one section. This is basically not drinking for more days than you are. So for instance, if you only drink on a Friday & Saturday, you win 5-2 & so on. It's supposed to be very a good read.

The very fact that he had a torn ACL & that he is unpredictable, means we will get nowhere near 'at the very least 22 million' , plus add-ons. (I assume Pounds). I'd imagine we'd get about £7-10m & a 4 pack of Guinness.

That's interesting. Never knew that. I was hoping they'd win, purely to give Harborough a fairly local away day !

Probably right. I think Crawley will be dropped though. Rightly so. -

Opening & keeping wicket is a tough ask at Test level. I'd like to see what Rew can do at some point though. -

I think it's a valid point, but l think unless he has a poor run of form they'll stick with him. He is a serious talent, but l definitely think he needs county red ball cricket. -

Asa Tribe gets a bit of airtime. An opener too. -
'Always the victim, never your fault', is often chanted at their games.

Sibley has started this season well too. Apparently he has a better offside game now (as in he has one !). I reckon he'll get another chance. -
There's an excellent feature on the above, currently on Sky. I didn't realise the Play-offs had been going on for 40 years! Time flighs Obviously we are heavily involved ! Steve Walsh gives his views & emotional involvement. It's a really good watch. Highly recommended.

Totally agree. He would do well to stay clear of the circus we've become. We would ruin him.

Was in a boozer in Harborough. Took a bottle of decent champagne with me. Opened it at the final whistle, some overflowed, l then knocked the bottle over, don't think l drank much of it ! In hindsight, we should've got a taxi into Leicester. I guess most people didn't have a plan as we they were so focused & nervous of what we were could achieve or throw away. I know l was.

Maybe their idiots won't bother with going to games especially if it's too expensive, but that wouldn't stop them causing trouble. I know they've tried to address their reputation as a club, but they still have plenty of knuckle-daggers. Hopefully nothing happens, if they go up ( not that l think they will).
-
I'd imagine Chelsea could be a time bomb too. I guess there's plenty of Millwall 'fans' of a certain vintage with a few scores to settle, a last hurrah. Hopefully I'm totally wrong & nothing happens when they play Arsenal, Spurs, Palace etc.
-
It's probably to do with the potential trouble they may have to deal with.
-
Ah c'mon, where's you sense of fun ? Millwall in The Prem will be hilarious, just for 1 season. I'm not a fan at all, but the FA will be dreading it, as will the Met Police. 1 season, then they can disappear again.
