Obviously this is all guess work & opinions. But has anyone got any idea of how many points we're likely to have deducted ? Is there a limit that the EFL can impose ?

It won't spoil my weekend anymore. Probably become numb to it all. However, l can't believe what we've become as a club since winning The Premiership, FA Cup & Charity Shield in the last 9 years. Maybe it's a balance thing...... Good times/bad times.

Very true ! I coached the same youth side at Harborough Town for about 4 seasons, a few years ago......had a great rapport with the parents & they were always respectful, apart from this 1 couple who thought their lad was Lionel Messi & should be at a better team/club. They didn't mix with anyone, very strange couple. The son was fine, he just wanted to play football.

Was in Bari for a couple of days last summer. The old town is very nice. Moved onto Naples from there, so didn't see much of the surrounding area.

We will no doubt trot out the media friendly, chest thumping, 'This is the greatest cup competition in world football, we want to win it again' , BS......and then roll over & have our tummies tickled due to another abject, defensively pathetic performance. Having to see us get embarrassed on terrestrial TV, the world over........not for me. Each to their own though.

No chance. Prime Wenger or Sir Alex wouldn't keep this Championship squad up. The defence is possibly League 1 standard.

This was always going to be a difficult, relegation battle type season......but they have comfortably exceeded my low expectations ! Personally l dislike the Premier League, have done for years. It's sanitised, geared towards the 'Big 6', even though Forest, Bournemouth, Brentford etc are having great times. VAR is ruining the matchday experience, referee's under constant scrutiny is tedious & harmful. When we go back down to The Championship, l expect we'll have a big points deduction, probably finish mid-table.......maybe a season or three of no dramas, out of the spotlight is what we need. A reboot.

I was about to post similar. We won't survive, but if 3 sides do somehow finish below us, I'd cry as nothing would change at the top of this rotten circus of a club.

Thanks, that's fantastic. We haven't booked accommodation yet, but will use Airbnb as there's plenty of choice (which area would you reccomend ?) We will use Bergamo as a base & travel about. We went to Verona last May, so will probably return as it's beautiful & not too chaotic regarding hordes of tourists. Thanks again.

I actually don't think England take T20 very seriously anymore, it's a bit of fun to them, hence the poor batting performances. We seem to gear everything up to taking on Australia for The Ashes, which we generally get hammered in down under. To be so blinkered isn't very smart.
