  1. ......it's not coming home then ?
  2. Exactly, I've been lucky enough to watch England in Barbados twice, most recently in a Test match in 2022. Great place to visit, so chilled out & lovely locals.
  3. If we don't win it, l really hope West Indies do, we need a strong Windies across all formats though. It's a great place to tour too & we don't play enough Test cricket there. Unfortunately l think Australia will be victorious.
  4. Great post. I really do find the comments about his appearance to be really weird, bitter & distasteful.
  5. He can't take 90% of the blame for so many poor individual performances in one game, tactically maybe. Although if the player's can't use basic skills, dither, can't pass, lack football IQ, tactics are difficult to employ. Player's need to be massively accountable for such poor performances. However, I'm far from a Southgate fan, l should add.
  6. So so poor. Southgate can't be take all of the blame though. Too many player's unable to make simple passes, getting caught dithering on the ball, lacking basic skills, fitness & mental fortitude. Southgate can only make 5 changes unfortunately. We really are a shambles, so easy to play against.
  7. Can you please DM me the next Lottery numbers. Thanks.
  8. I'm sure many thought similar when we appointed Claudio. We aren't exactly fighting off applicants off with a stick are we, thanks to our financial mess ? Give Cooper a chance. If he keeps us up, he will be seen as a huge success.
  9. Last round of fixtures we get a 5 day break, Scotland get 4.
  10. We won. Not good 2nd half. We will improve. Next.
  11. They said earlier he'd played much further forward for Bayern than at Spurs. A 'proper' number 9.
  12. Vestergaard is too slow to play at the top level. That surely confirms it.
  13. Saw James & Razorlight last night at The O2. Razorlight were excellent & James as always, were very good. Tim Booth is still a great showman, great stage presence.
  14. Without the issues they've had in the past, I'd agree, but that isn't the case, sorry. Australia took 'a vow' to clear up their game & be better towards opponents after being caught out in South Africa. Obviously it's my opinion but Hazlewood's comments weren't helpful, plus captain Cummins quickly tried to diffuse the potential issue with his statement.
  15. Exactly this. After sandpaper gate they can't afford to be less than squeaky clean. Hazlewood's comments were ridiculously stupid.
  16. Kane often drops deep. Foden should/could then fill in the space Harry leaves.
  17. No recommendations as such, but l went there when we played. Beautiful city, climate is fantastic too (it was 20° in Feb, from memory). Great just to wonder about, sampling tapas, sangria etc. Huge Cathedral in the centre, which is very pretty. It was also surprisingly cheap to eat out & have a beer. I plan to go back, although I've been told Valencia is worth a visit too.
  18. Definitely. It's very different to most Italian cities. It's a bit edgy, l felt very safe walking about, even at night though. I know it has a reputation. It's a football mad city, l wore a city shirt for a day, no hassle at all, just a few quizzical looks. You're only a short train trip from Pompeii & Herculaneum. Food & drink are very cheap, people are friendly. Personally l would return, loved the madness of it all. It's a slap in the face from when you arrive (in a nice way).
  19. Re new manager : A Talksport co-presenter said earlier 'The Leicester job would be a great job, really good for someone, well ran club, etc'.
  20. I imagine he’ll end up somewhere like Brentford, Bournemouth, Luton or Burnley.
  21. It’s definitely the strongest looking attack wise, defensively absolutely not. Even the goalkeeper’s are a worry. l find it amazing that we are favourites. Semis at best
  22. 'If anything goes wrong....... would you blame Wellens ?'
  23. How dare you come on here & make a sensible, thoughtful post ! Away with you !
  24. Moyes could possibly keep us up next season. Who knows ? l don’t understand why some wouldn’t want him. It’s all about opinions, of course. Our situation dictates our next move, plus which potential managers would be interested. We are in for a long season come what may, but we need someone with Prem experience, if we are to survive. Next season is solely about finishing higher than 18th (which personally, l think is a long shot). I understand why the list of plausible managers is limited, but Moyes seems the best of the names mentioned. Potter has experience, but l can’t see him wanting a relegation battle.
