  1. Plenty of Liverpool 'fans' in Harborough. I work with too many ! The Nags Head is full of 'em when they're on the tv. Tigers, obviously are popular. Predominantly City fans though tbf.
  2. 5-0 at home to Anstey. Conrad Logan's played in virtually every game for Nomads. He got a bit of grief at Harborough (regarding, you guessed it.......his waistline !). He had the last laugh & gave it back with interest, as Anstey eventually won.
  3. It was only fairly recently that Harborough started paying players. The hierarchy realised that getting out of UCL & moving on couldn't be achieved otherwise.
  4. Finished up 4-0. Harborough don't seem to concede many & have strengthened up front too.
  5. Harborough currently 3 up at Loughborough. Seems to be between Harborough, Anstey & Spalding. Spalding host Anstey on Saturday.
  6. I agree with most of that, although I'm not sure many of us think Kelechi has done himself any favours recently. Too passive, lazy & seems to play as if he's off somewhere.
  7. Apparently he’s spent hours & hours watching Vardy’s runs etc. He must now love learning from him personally.
  8. Norwich equaliser
  9. Time for a change or two Enzo.
  10. I just don’t think he has enough football IQ to go very far, only my opinion of course. I hope I’m very wrong. As a local lad, I’d love him to return here & be a huge success.
  11. Thomas to Sheff Utd was a dreadful move for all concerned. Will probably end up at Rotherham, Huddersfield or similar.
  12. We are cruising with our current squad, but losing some influential ones to the AFCON.
  13. This is why Leeds & lpswich are fading......lack of rotation & man management.
  14. Better than Sunderland ?
  15. He's failing by not rotating his squad enough. You can't play with the up & at 'em, high intensity style without making changes. Some complain at our 1st half careful approach, but it's working. Keep the ball, probe, try again & again. Teams can't chase all game.
  16. Cov doing well of late. Look good going forward. Should be a good test.
  17. I really don’t & never did get the negativity towards him. lf most of our lot had had his fight & attitude last season, I doubt we’d have been relegated. l know he has limitations, but giving 'your all', is non negotiable.
  18. James at The O2 in June.
  19. I’d be amazed if Villa go in for Kel personally.
  20. I think Rodgers had more to do with that. I’d have looked ok v a side playing with zero ambition. He’s decent tbf.
  21. Absolutely charming.
  22. Can't say I've watched Ipswich much, other than the Leeds defeat. Are people basing their 'openness at the back', on that 4-0 hammering to a decent Leeds side, or is it a more common issue Ipswich have ?
  23. Fair. You've addressed one of my points. For this season at least.
  24. I know competitive football is great. The Premier League is that at the highest level (UK obviously). The issue l, and many others have is that it's become sanitised, a cash cow for the rich, has no connection with the true football fan, is STILL geared up to the 'Big 6', plus Newcastle. Whenever, generally one of the bigger clubs loses to a 'lesser' club, it's 'Arsenal were so poor, why is that ?' Rarely is praise given to the upstarts. Personally I'd rather they all joined The European Super League & live in their ivory towers. The Premier League has become tedious & tired.
