Steve Cooper would be a great piece of business. Although Palace would be the obvious next job for him, l guess.
-
Haaland probably has a decent chance. Other than him I'm not too concerned.
-
Doughty looks decent. Full of energy.
-
Really enjoyed watching that. After 10mins l was thinking of watching some Only Fools & Horses. Hopefully the second half is as good. Luton obviously struggle defending, in general, but show enough going forward to give themselves a chance.
-
If Referee's used the yellow card correctly there would be no need for this blue card nonsense. Stop bottling it.

Quite like Brewdog's Hazy Jane at the moment.

Was over the road at Kayal a couple of weeks ago. Excellent.

Safe. On Netflix. Pretty good.m

Our 0-9 under threat (yes, the 3rd time i've posted that this season !)

Shocking challenge. No intention of playing the ball. Leg breaker.

We really are, in general, a weird fanbase when we lose. -

Spot on. India have lost a player, Jadeja is struggling & England hand any advantage back. Alistair Cook made a good point regarding Root & Bazzball. He doesn't need to alter the way he plays, he's a top player. It's served him well. He doesn't need to go total Bazzball. The 'new' way of being more positive has helped players like Crawley, Duckett etc, who were at a crossroad. -
That's possibly a fair point. It's just the fact both (especially Soutter) have had little impact/game time. Our recruitment has been very poor in our recent past.
-
That would make some sense. On the other hand, we were so badly run under Rodgers (I'm sure others were to blame) and we did seem to sleepwalk into situations, obviously relegation was the main one.
-
I do find the Soutter & Kristiansen contracts (until June 2028) absolutely baffling. It's like we were playing with Monopoly money.
-
Went there just before it burnt down . Didn't eat, had a couple of beers. Very nice, busy too.
-
Looking a bit ragged now.
-
It is weird. Same as some of our lot have a supposed hatred of Spurs, seemingly because they dared to challenge us during our run to winning the title. Get over it.
-
If that's guaranteed, I'd take it !
-
Personally I'm enjoying the type of football we're trying to play & hope it continues. Does anyone think, it's just about getting the points now, however we get them, even if we go more direct. I know when at home, most sides have a low block, meaning more patience is required. I often think our set up is perfect for our away trips.
-
The blatant poor use of the yellow card isn't helping. The amount of times that a player dives or goes to ground looking for a free kick or penalty is ridiculous. Most refs wave play on, surely knowing he's being tempted to give in. Just book the cheat. It isn't difficult.
-
I think our 9 takes some beating. Haaland could definitely match or beat Vardy though. Like you say, we got to witness both.
-
I thought our 0-9 record was in doubt when Newcastle were on the rampage at Sheff Utd. I have similar feelings now. Arsenal look awesomely good (West Ham gave up after No 2 though).
