Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
STEVIE B replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
It depends. Everton got 6 because they weren't very compliant, Forest apparently were, so 'only' got 4. I don't think there's an exact ratio of points deduction to the amount of overspending. -
Championship team of possible transfers. Who has impressed you?

A bit left field.....Michael Obafemi. At Millwall, on loan from Burnley. -
Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
STEVIE B replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Everton's own lawyers said they had a flimsy defence & were not always compliant (I'm paraphrasing slightly) Forest have apparently been more transparent. Hence, the points difference. An expert is currently on Talksport. Fascinating -
Probably, yes.
-
His only asset is his passing range & having the occasional marauding gallop into the opponents half. He literally strolls through games.......but that's easy in The Championship when we have 75% possession & teams don't want to cross the halfway line. If we go up, we won't have such dominance & he will struggle.
-
Clean sheets v Sunderland & Bournemouth don't count then ?
-
King started on Saturday. James not involved at all.
-
.....well that's easy for you to say

Jeez, did anyone seriously expect Ipswich & Leeds not to win this weekend ? They’ve both had blips, we’ve had ours. Let’s see how Leeds cope with being top……they never mess things up do they ? ……(’Leeds, Leeds are falling apart again !’), that must ring a bell, no ? They & Ipswich, especially, have tough games to come. I still expect Leeds & ourselves to finish in the top 2. Chill out, have a beer, enjoy the run-in.

…….and Blackburn
-
Their fans haven’t always been impressed with performances, even on their good run. It’s not just us. We play a totally different way to Leeds too.
-
Just win. Not too concerned about the performance. Although, l couldn’t stomach going into the last 10 mins with a tight 1-0 lead. Start strongly, early goal, kill it off (take the chances we will inevitably create) & solid at the end………..simple.

FA Cup: Chelsea (A) 4-2 Post-Match Thread
STEVIE B replied to lnkstern's topic in Leicester City Forum
The media are only bothered about the so called ‘big' clubs. I’d be surprised if they’ve realised Bury went out of business a few years back. Let them join their European League & take the circus with them. -

Really ? VAR changed it to a red, rightly so. -
......purely based on our title win. If it was Man City or Liverpool challenging us back then, the 46 would've voted for them ! How dare another team ruin it. Bizarre.

....'and Leicester comfortably see out a 1-0 victory......never in doubt'

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

This has been coming for some time. Player’s ridiculous wages, massive transfer fees (Chelsea & Abramovic are to blame for this fiasco). The bubble had to burst. The Premier League & the media that promote the ‘big' clubs also need to look at itself. The money involved is kept in house, whilst clubs like Bury are allowed to go out of business. The money needs to filter down, surely. -
Coady, Albrighton & Vardy should be a huge help. Hopefully on & off the pitch. Coady & MA, in particular, should get more game time than they currently are, IMO.
-
Well, other than the climate & Seville being a beautiful city, I'm baffled too.

He's on TalkSport occasionally. Usually pops up in the afternoon (Hawksby & Jacobs).

Thank you Ray O'Sunshine

Are you sure that's correct ?

Just reporting what l was told.

Looking forward to Bari, off the beaten track, looks very nice though & not too touristy. Naples will be a bit different/edgy. Only in Rome for a night, will be very busy, so will only do the main sites & a bus tour. Florence will be great, l imagine ! Verona has a lot of lovely surrounding areas, so may hire a Vespa (has to be done !) Venice, will be amazing, I’m sure. Never been to Italy before, so can’t wait.
