  1. Just read the full exchange with context, I think I might need a beer
  2. Edit, my brain fell out.
  3. Name another manager in world football who can make a few tactical changes and improve the attack by 300%, I'll wait. 5 more years.
  4. Bilal offered absolutely nothing on that break, was practically marking himself out of the game.
  5. And now people want him to stay in a "player leadership" role, as if during his time here players didn't collectively down tools and put in minimal effort under multiple managers (Not discounting the role those managers played in their own demise) as well as it being well known that him and other players in the past have had really unhealthy direct routes to Top. Absolutely love Vardy, he needs a statue and will be immortalised in our club history forever, but the credit he has gained borders delusional with a lot of our fans, we were lucky to have him, and his loyalty to the club when he could have gone to Arsenal is something we were privileged to receive, but the time has surely come to part ways. The championship offers us the perfect chance to actually replace him and give the replacement a full run. No doubt if Vardy stays he will score 10-15 goals next year, and will probably be taking minutes away from his replacement.
  6. Luke Thomas is the best player at the club
  7. Vardy needed to leave in Summer, it's wild that people want him to stay and guarantee we don't get a replacement for him next season.
  8. Yep, I've been in a weird spot over the last few years, I'm a big Hamilton fan and loved the straight talking approach of Toto Wolff and his role in building Mercedes into serial winners, but I also really like Max, and also like Christian Horner for the work he's done with RB and the sheer amount that they have done for the drivers in the sport. Horners 1 on 1 interview for the Cambridge Union a few years ago was fantastic, it's been a strange few seasons after '21 with the fans being at eachothers throats and media whipping up the hatred so I'm glad to see things settling more and we can just appreciate how good Lewis is on his day and how fast Max is consistently in the last few seasons.
  9. Max is just a special, special talent.
  10. Bo Henriksen is a very interesting prospect at Mainz, they have fallen off recently but he took a relegation bound club in Feb last season to survival, then currently top 6 having lost key players in the summer. Squad depth looks to be catching up with them now, one to keep an eye on if form continues to struggle in the last few games. Can easily see him going to bigger and better in summer though.
  11. Funnily enough I have a gut feeling we will be top 6 next season with or without RVN, but our chances of achieving that would be far higher with a lot of the managers others have given. Part of the child in me that absolutely loved RVN as a player still wants him to do well, even though i'd happily see him leave tomorrow. I just feel like the gap is so big to the prem, even with how disastrous we've been this season we will still have enough especially if we clear some dead wood, and promote Evans, Monga, Alves, Nelson and a couple of others.
  12. Obviously none of us want relegation but since we would need to win basically every game and wolves would have to lose pretty much every game, we know we are going down. So with that in mind I hope it’s Sunday. Our fanbase needs a long, hard think about who we are and what we represent. Even if we were yo-yoing between the prem and championship and we’re struggling to make the next step up, we should be fighting tooth and nail, fully united as a fanbase and playing/coaching staff. We can accept trying and failing, what we cannot accept is not trying. (Well, unfortunately many of our fans seemingly can) That reset can only begin when King Power take some responsibility, actually publish an internal review to the fans, give us a full and transparent plan of how they are going to restore credibility, move on the people that need to be moved on whether that be sacked or given different roles, replace them with competent people who are not afraid to be straight and tell the ownership/board what the issues are, or failing all of that, sell the club. If King Power did all of that in the summer, I think most fans would give them more time, but they won’t. They will do another private internal review where nothing changes.
  13. People on here turned their nose up at Eddie Howe before he went to Newcastle 🤣🤣
  14. Ruud is being sacked and Faes is taking over as player manager.
  15. Who is asking whether he should stay?
  16. You seem hesitant mate, are you sure?
  17. Question for everyone (and i'm not for or against just curious) If we play for the rest of the season how we did today, would you accept Ruud being here next season?
  18. Someone massively going under the radar at the moment is Liam Manning at Bristol City. Nobody can doubt the job Pearson did in stabilising them as they sold off everyone and refused to reinvest, the Bristol city fans didn’t want Pearson to go. But since arriving Manning took Bristol to 11th after taking over in 15th, and now has them in the top 6 with a budget of £10m. He's done a fantastic job building on Pearson's foundation. Prior to that he did a great job at Oxford, MK Dons and Lommel in Belgium. Was part of the city group so has contacts at Man City and its clubs. I would add, he has got Bristol City there with quite a low number of wins at 16 with 5 to play but there’s no doubt he’s improved the club this season and is taking advantage of a very competitive mid table. Not completely sold on him but definitely worth keeping an eye on him for the summer if our main targets don’t come. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liam_Manning
  19. Yeah I think fundamentally although he has accepted some mistakes, ultimately in the interview he did say that if anything he believes in his style more than ever, so as much as it was a brilliant interview and he's better than Ruud. No thanks.
  20. Yep can't fault the interview at all. Silly really but I was surprised by his vocabulary, he comes across as an intelligent guy and very well prepared and planned.
  21. He comes across really well (as most managers do Infront of camera) but he seems like a really sound person who have a clear identity and a really methodical approach, I just dislike his style personally, if he came here and said he's learned from his mistakes and he wants to keep possession but play more freely and attack more, i'd accept it. (He's not on my list at all, but I'm mentally preparing myself for him coming)
  22. Fully expecting Russell Martin to be our next manager, I quite liked him as a player, he was a bit of a rogue and was a hard hitter, so watching this to get his side. God I hope he has changed his ways if he ends up here though, his football was a snooze-fest.
  23. World 18 Edgeville and Mage bank pking was so fun too! the awful RS pking videos on youtube probably with something like Linkin Park playing and "unregistered hypercam 2" in the corner
  24. I guess this depends on how much of a rebuild we can afford, if we manage to offload the 10-12 players including contracts ending and we have room to spend, we could potentially get a more sophisticated manager with an identity and a system (that could be replicated by other managers after him) My main worry would be us going for someone like Dyche who plays quite a rigid system without much dynamic fluency, we then spend 18 months signing players for that system, sack Dyche, then the new manager coming in arrives to a team full of workhorses without the tactical flair to adapt to anything else. One thing Puel did well is buy players who could play in multiple different styles if needed, Dyche typically tends to go for players I would consider quite "one dimensional" though there are a few examples that don't fit that mold like Ndiaye. Just need a bit of balance really.
