Meeting old players in the Championship

Yep, a Vards volley, set up by a James assist. Just like old times! -

Sunday evening then! -
I agree Davies would be a great shout, but I think we've missed the boat with him. There's no way he'll leave a buoyant Brum, in the same Division, with all the money and promise they've got, for us at the moment!

Ben Dawson and Danny Alcock - Left the club

That's very interesting. The article is behind a paywall, so I can't see it all, but it does start by talking about Barry-Murphy having a training bust up with someone - who is that with? I'm not surprised about Hughes teetering on the brink - his set pieces are about as effective as a snowman's 'bedroom technique'. -
Yeah, but Murphy would be the boss. While he's only actually managed Rochdale, his CV at Man City is impeccable. And we took the gamble on Maresca with very similar background and experience - and that paid off.
-
Yep, that would be my plan. And I would guess its the club's most likely route - IF (big if) they decide to ditch him (or he jumps overboard himself).

4/7 at the moment!

Good call, but unfortunately Cremers is under contract with the Welsh National team. The first person Bellamy brought in, when he got the Wales job. He is the bees knees though when it comes tp Performance Analysis and since Rands (he's just been appointed at Dortmund, so he's not lost any reputation !) left with Cooper, we've had no one doing that job. -

If RvN is to walk (now or at the end of the season), I'm sure Barry-Murphy will pick up the pieces, with Kingy as Assistant and (as you say), a couple more Coaches he'll bring in. -

The last remnants of the Cooper regime - except for Andy Hughes, the Set Piece Coach (though given how effective our Set Pieces are, I'm amazed he hasn't also gone). Obviously, Ten Rouwelaar will pick up the Goalkeeping Coaching (I'm surprised he hasn't done already) and Kingy will do Dawson's job (can't do much worse). And it's obviously set up nicely for just two Dutch sackings in the summer! Barry-Murphy and AK to take the helm?! -
I'm totally in agreement with you there. That will happen, its just a question of when. My betting is that RvN will stay until the end of the season and resign, leaving those two in charge (hopefully with a bit more Coaching and financial support than he has had!).

If Justin is fit for Brentford, after that injury, I'm sure we'd see Coulibaly in, rather than Thomas. As to who'd be right or left, that's open to debate. If JJ isn't fit, then yes, Coulibaly on the right, Thomas on the left.

Brian Barry-Murphy! He won't cost any money, has a great pedigree and (as yet) can't be blamed for any of this shit show.
-
Didn't see that, what did RvN say? Exact words, or just an interpretation?
-
Ah, yes. Perhaps he will have a good game against Palace then!
-
We're playing Palace this week, Iwobi plays for Fulham
-
Don't think we need to spend any money signing a right winger, until Fatawu comes back. We've got JJ!
-
It was Valentin Barco (another Argentinian), but he's on a season long loan at Seville and so anything involving him now, will need a whole lot of recall business. I can't see that happening. And he's a left back, that side of the park, is a far less essential position for us - we desperately need a right back. I agree Lamptey would be great, but that is very unlikely.
-
Perhaps, all the talk of Buonanotte going back to Brighton now, could be true - and Moder coming to us, is part of the deal. We have to agree to Facundo being recalled - this could be the sweetener. £9m is pretty good for Moder.

Can't do much worse than Justin. He's already probably as good as Choudhury and is young enough to improve. A full Jamaican international.
